"Finally you see that we do not have a choice between lives." That's the motto of Undertale right there. 2:22 "Asgore! Look out! Flowey's gonna kill you! Oh no, Asgore can't hear us, he has Air Pods!" "Oh so much needless death! But you won't be the seventh!" Asgore, you don't have to do this... Asgore actually loved Chara as much as Asriel. They were both his children. So seeing Chara's own kind kill her in the face of her mutual friendship with a Monster enraged Asgore to the point where he agreed with Chara and wanted them to suffer. To him, his murdered children was the humans' way of saying "Screw your peace." (He didn't have the exact story of what happened) Flowey adopts Chara's thought too. But where Flowey is on deck to coax Asgore to kill on before the game even begins (they know each other), ultimately, you show him that MERCY is still possible for the humans... and for Asgore himself. This is evident when _you_ as the unjustly persecuted make friends out of your enemies, just like Asgore did with Chara. So when Asgore chooses to repent, Chara's last disciple kills him in cold blood, before being likewise proven wrong the hard way. In this clash of philosophies given form in Flowey FIGHTing Asgore after you beat him, we discover the true final boss of this route.

Hmm... Personally I like the song and the lyrics separately. The lyrics would be wonderful as its own poem or something. What I think the problem is, is that for a lot of these undertale songs, the lyrics' notes are the same as the notes of the existing melody of the music. For some parts of some songs it works, but IMO for the whole song, it feels messy. I absolutely ADORE your cover of Asgore, don't get me wrong, and it always gives me chills. ❤️
