Unlike what many people thinks, I believe Ash would get only 2 Starters, maybe Scorbunny and Sobble. Why? Because of the games. Did you remember that Gen 6 was filled with many callbacks with Gen 3, because there would have been a Gen 3 remake? Even the anime, at that time, showed many similiarities with the AG series, even for the Startes. Now we're in Gen 8, and Diamond&Pearl remakes are right out of the corner, so I guess the Galar anime will share some traits with the Sinnoh anime: Ash getting 2 Starters out of 3; one Pokémon following him and Pikachu such as Aipom did (in this case Meltan); one boy and one girl as travelling companions. I think they might be Sonia and Allister: Sonia, according to the official site, is a mysterious character with a "mission", something which makes her a potential key character such as Lillie (and in fact, Lillie ended up to be one of Ash's friends); for Allister, we've learned thanks to Sun&Moon that the writers will always put in the main characters' group people who, in the games, challenge us, so there might be a Gym Leader even in the SWSH anime. The reason why I've chosen Allister is because of his personality: he's shy and always wears a mask in public. If this personality would be handled good, then his story might be like this: a Trainer who couldn't stand the pressure and the anxiety of being in a Stadium, when everyone watches him, and therefore he wasn't able to become a Gym Leader, instead of Bea, who took his place. It would be really interesting to see, just don't make it ends up like Clemont's story, when he decided to face Ash in a Gym Battle to show himself how far he can go. P.S: I also don't see in Ash's Team any Pokémon who can use Gigantmaxing, since Ash never gets these unique forms.

Well I'm not sure about all the 3 starters Probably he'll take only 1 or 2 (for sure Sobble and the companiobs will take the others imo) Also Dreadnaw and Rolycoly don't inspire me that much even if I like them Rolycoly seems the kind of Pokémon Team Rocket would take Probably Ash will take the regional bird a Pokémon for the starter types (grass fire and water) not necessarily the starter it self and a Pokémon wich can represent that Generation (Like Heracross, Glalie, Gliscor and Krookodile did back in their days) Anyway still a good prediction :)

My version of Ashs Team Pikachu Corviknight evolution if there is one I have a little pattern Ash would have 3rd evolution of Scorbunny 2nd evolution of Sobble 1st evolution of Grookey Melmetal Released Episode Before Battle With Allister or 4th Gym Leader ( if Allister really is the 4th gym leader ) I have a strange idea if in one episode Ash and Team Rocket team up, and one of James Pokemon likes Ash better than James so James gives it to Ash. Cool idea but probably won't happen. ANOTHER IDEA FOR ASH!!! He could have a Drednaw and another water pokemon and they could have a rivalry. Cool That's my very unlikely prediction!!!

Since Gou got Scorbunny whether it evolve or not, Ash probably wouldn't. As long as Gou and Ash travel together, imagine Ash use one fossil type (-zolt or ish) while Gou use the other fossil type. Those two galar fossil types are like body-part switchers and type-switchers like Ultraman Rosso and Blu. I like it if Ash get the elephant-type Cufant, and for Team Rocket, James get galar form Weezing and Jessie get Impidimp and Silicobra (since Jessie used to have two snake-types) although immune to electric attacks. And since Ash's Pikachu won't go in pokeball, he probably won't turn gigantamax form, right? I saw how gigantamax worked in the trailer.
