I have Tatura, you don't see him used much, but that doggo is a beast! He carries me everywhere, block debuffs, veil team while shielding self then freezing enemies who attack him, hits hard, lives harder, and the decrease acc on his a1 is awesome, too! Looks amazing when he gets lit on fire and / or frozen with his wings spread, and blue flames over your whole team! He truly is the bestest boy!

Ash, Truath is awesome as a high resist mischief tank in hydra, keeps your team alive and has unique buffs for himself on a2, also build him in frenzy gear for great synergy with his passive.

Here’s a 1 turn cooldown for truaths passive and it cannot cool down more than 1 turn per proc. Ex. 100% to 60% wouldn’t let him use his heal again next turn, it would be at 2. 4 turn, 1 cools down from taking dmg and the other 1 from his turn he gets. At best it’s a 3 turn heal. Still good, not nearly what you’re thinking tho.

There's 2 heads I have the most problems with. But mostly the head of Mischief. They say that the heads are random to respond once decapitated. But I swear, Mischief doesn't. Every time it respawns. EVERY FREAKING TIME! and when he doesn't, he replaces the next head. And when it's time to have a champ to be swallowed. It's always that evil head. EVERY FREAKING TIME XD I have some luck in this game. But the bad luck that does happen to me is legendary.

Tbh a lot of champs are good in hydra especially on normal and hard (basically everything works on normal). Mother Cybele, Raglin, Deliana, Nari, Deacon. Also, a lot of content creators ignore pure damage dealers that aren't max hp based but they work perfectly fine for the first 2 difficulties. I do hard hydra with taras and georgid and do between 50-100m damage, depending on the rotation.

I have Truath. Run him in a couple different comps. I built him moderately fast, super tanky. I put all the op Frenzy pieces I had on him. He cycles through his abilities really quickly from all the extra turn meter he gets. Animus is a 60% heal then balance when booked btw. It's nutty, especially after masteries.

I like running Kantra with Riho. Riho can help keep plenty of debuffs on the head of Decay, especially if you have a debuff extender on the squad. Riho also brings a cleanse and healing.

I'd also add some folks who work great in a provoke set like Khoronar, Ukko, & Nekmo. Folks with aoe a1s and some other hydra utility. I run my nekmo in a provoke set

I use skull lord and he is a blast in bolster set. also aoe decrease atk is good too, and he can easily withstand any attack for a long time . what a tank and a beast! well built, it can also solo scarab king and practically rip him off of his max hp in no time. I ❤ this guy!

Pulled Truath when he had the x10 getting pts for Michinaki. I have a Marichka, so he hasn't gotten any focus beyond lvling to 50 so far. I'll try him on team 2 or 3 sometime, after I can book him and up gems for masteries

It depends on if you want damage or survivability. But, Relentless or Reflex. Or you can go with a Provoke set (in case the skill Provoke doesn’t land). You can go with Regeneration/Immortal so they will heal theirselves. All depends on what you have available. For my Maulie, she’s in 3x RES sets (I use her in Arena too). For my Bivald I have him in Savage for more damage.

I am returning player (after over 2 years break) so Hydra team is something I still need to work on so this is very helpful video even though almost all your options are legendary champion that I do not have (except of Kantra and Duchess). Just a small note, I really hate mentioning cooldown of the a2 or a3 as for average f2p player booking a champion is really long run (those legendary books are very hard to get)

I'm using Skull-Lord ......just recently did first attempt at doing brutal hydra and with skull lord fast enough he locks down head of decay even on brutal and doesn't need backup provoke while also countering head of wrath with decrease atk and mischief tanking .... Don't underestimate him ppl He is actually a monster first attempt with him on brutal was 4m short of 1 key

Comment #2, lol. Skull lord is fantastic for hydra. I use him on my hard team. Shamrock is also a solid hydra champ (better than most give credit). Speaking of champs that have nothing to do with the video... uggo is a must build for hydra. I have 5 built. 3 on the main 2 on the alt. All for hydra. Leech, heal/mini cleanse on the A3.. aoe defense down and block buffs on A2

Seeker also does well for the provoke, easier to get than legos probably.. but also if he's number 2 in the lineup if using an aura, will put up increase def by 60% on the whole team. No cooldown on the provoke. & the cleanse for the fear, nobody does netter than shamael. Boosted my overall damage do much.

Ash man, if I had these champions, you're speaking about I wouldn't be afraid of running Hydra either. You're running Promo Code on a separate channel and then are wondering if you should run it together with other games' promo codes? You’re going to run out of hours in the day for your boy brother for working so much… To add to your laundry list, maybe you should start running F2P, Mid-game and End-Game on separate channels. I'm more of a (not that I’m good at all but I’m finally getting an understanding, sort of, but still need serious help now) mid-game to late-game player and I don’t have most of these champs you mentioned. Yea on Rector, Dutches, Bivald (yet to gear him but booked and 6 starred) and of course I recall you saying a while ago about Butcher so I have him at 50 and that's it from your list. I have shit-loads of other champs that still need to be geared correctly but I just get nervous now on doing it right. But Hydra is very intimidating to me and my 3on3 arena is Silver 1 and now I'm getting pummeled. I'm still barely hanging on to gold 5 in arena. But I'm getting up against a lot of resistant players. My defense team is not happy... But you and Hates have been making the difference for me, so kudos to you guys! Thanks man! Peace...

I went for the Tatura fusion when it was around. He's in my CB team and my IT team. He's a beast (no pun intended) though I do think he's supposed to be a lion. That 3 turn block debuffs and def up is incredible. And holy hell he hits like a truck.

Nekmo Thaar, Supreme Galek, and Pythion make Hydra much easier for me. Honorable mention is Norog, due to his damage reduction and block buffs, and Shemnath for clearing buffs from Hydra and extra damage.

I though having Warchief was a bad pull. Until I saw his permanent simplistic provoking and damage reflect stuff / buff stealer. Now my Master butcher can retire and let Warchief take over.

my favorite provoker is actually not even a provoker => Nekmo Thaar in provoke set. This speed freak gets so many turns, its bound to land when you need it. Especially on this rotation, paired with Shamael, Nekmo just goes nuts LOL

Bivald is awesome, but leach with head of decay destorying my max hp sucks. They also buff head of decay too. Able to destroy 75% of you hp now. You miss a great rare provoker in Sentinel. I don't have one built, but he looks good.

I was lucky enough to get Supreme Galek. Him in a Reflex set singlehandedly pushed my damage from 70-80 mill to 210 mill on hard last rotation. Might have had only a lucky run though, can't say it yet.

Aye, I use him a lot. Relentless set with 230-240 speed and accuracy to land provoke. The provoke is nice but man the TM-boosts is godly.
