Most pikachu wins have come with iron tail, thunderbolt, or his “big move” (thunder, volt tackle, electro ball). Never quick attack. Atleast not against any substantial opponent

Which is exactly why its so powerful. A move doesnt have to do direct damage to be amazing. Think without double team that Greninja was getting a clean ko on Alain's bisharp? Or getting anywhere near Diantha's Gardevoir? Look at how many shadowballs the thing had to throw to figure out greninja when those would have all gone directly to Greninja otherwise. The clones directing focus away from the original creates SO many openings its not even funny. Plus do you not see the value in forcing your opponent to waste time attacking at what's not there?

Just to add to the brokenness if double team, it allows the user to close in so easily. Plus forcing your opponent to waste time attacking fakes is really amazing. Greninja would NOT have gotten as close as he did to gardevoir or mega sceptile (frenzy plant is so broken in the anime) if it wasnt for double team. Look at how many shadowballs gardevoir had to throw to figure out greninja instead of just focusing on the real one from the start.

On Pikachu personally I would say Thunderbolt is better purely because it was the ending move of Ash vs Leon. Like nothing is stronger then the final Thunderbolt of the final major fight of the anime IMO.

The video title is pretty misleading. Its not about raw power but rather usefulness. Quick Attack has allowed the rat to escape horrible scenarios which the raw power of thunderbolt wouldn't have. Yeah thunderbolt is Pikachu's most powerful move in the sense of damage output but in terms of utility, its definitely quick attack

Great video, but the only complaint I have is for Pikachu. (But it's your opinion, so you're good.) Pikachu speed is great, and it does help quick attack a lot, but it doesn't really compare to thunderbolt. There is a reason that Ash calls it Pikachu's best move. Plus, Pikachu has taken out more pokemon with used thunderbolt more than quick attack and why it was the final move to beat Leon. THIS IS ALL AN OPINION

I think you got rid of iron tail too quickly for Pikachu's most versatile. Pikachu has perfected its ability to use iron tail to the point where he rarely misses even though it has a high chance of missing. Pikachu uses iron tail defensively to block attacks and even cut tax in half. And also to jump. I can tell also can Lower the defense of a pokémon. I respect your perspective on quick attack...
