I think Ash's Glalie is underrated. Even though he only had him. For a rather short amount of time, Glalie only lost one battle as a snorunt, but when he evolved he became a powerhouse in the hoenn league. He defeated a Charizard and Morrison's Metang despite having type disadvantages against them and easily took out Katie's dugtrio. He only got knocked out twice as Glalie. Against Kati's mistreavous and Tyson's sceptile, and both of them were ties. Meaning he never got knocked out without beating the other pokemon as a Glalie.

Leavanny is so underrated that it was even forgotten in this video, it's my favorite Pokemon of Ash, and it really is solid in battles, I find it sad not to receive the recognition it deserves

Ash’s Torterra gets a lot of hate, but I still think it’s super underrated. It was a beast as a Turtwig, and even though it lost every battle after it evolved, those losses were against seriously powerful opponents that it still held it’s own against. Heck, it almost beat an elite four’s Hippowdon

Gliscor is also somewhat underrated as it was able to defeat Paul’s drapion and Byron’s Bastiodon

Sirfetched and bulbasaur and his Swellow and basically everyone else on this list deserves way more recognition. Yeah, Torkoal can be annoying but, he does have his good moments.

Ash's Melmetal is far and away his most underrated Pokémon. I'd even argue that it's in the Top 8 of his Strongest Pokémon ever. (Pikachu, Charizard, Greninja, Sceptile, Infernape, Lucario, Snorlax and Melmetal).

I feel that. I think Melmetal (in my eyes at least) gets a little more respect and notoriety because he’s Ash’s first and only mythical!

@Minus The fact that Ash's Melmetal almost tied vs a fully trained Legendary Pokémon immediately after evolution regardless of its Mythical status. That's a feat thats just hard to fathom like if Ash's Melmetal didn't put in that effort is it a stretch to think Gladion's Silvally could've swept vs Ash in the finals?

I agree with Buizel and Swellow absolutely. They are both in my Top 10 All-Time favorite. I even think Hawlucha and Bayleef are a bit underrated, too.

I feel like people hate Ash's unfezant and love Ash's pidgeot because of the design but actually unfezant did better than pidgeot by defeating braviary,swanna and swoobat may be this doesn't matter for many people but this proves how much good she is as a sky battler by defeating all those strong flying types.

yup, ash's swellow underrated af....ppl keep saying that ash's staraptor is best regional bird but we know ash's swellow is wayyy far better than staraptor...though staraptor is so strong in games, but he such a disappointed back in dp series...still, can't figure it out why ppl see ash's staraptor is better than swellow...he just sooo overrated😒

That would’ve been so cool. I think now if Ash was to do the Sinnoh region again with his power and knowledge now, he would definitely have a Garchomp!

A lot of these Pokemon are amazing and the fact that people forget about them because of Ash's "aces" or the fact people are like "they should have evolved" shows how little they watch the series. In my honest opinion, Corphish and Swellow were a lot better than Grovyle and could be considered the aces of Hoenn. Ash used Corphish for particularly everything and Swellow was just a badass. Sceptile only did like two things as a Sceptile, (knock out Spenser's Shifty and Claydol and catch Speed form Deoxys) like compare this to how badass Swellow and Corphish are and how much they helped Ash more. It's impressive what Sceptile can do, but to just ignore everything Swellow and Corphish did before is insulting. Also Happy New Year to you all
