The best thing about Tobias is the knowledge that really only someone as broken as him would have been able to stop Ash winning that League and that somehow Cynthia clearly managed to beat Tobias. Now that’s a match I wish we had got to see.

And to top it off, only 2/3 of his team you really say are one of hiis harder hitting Pokemon and 3 considered to be aces by many. Even still he managed to take down two of Tobias's Pokemon.

That’s cool and all but what’s the point. Ash already had his rematch with Tobias in the Masters tournament. He looked different probably because he used his action replay to change his sprite and people were referring to him as Leon but I am sure it was secretly him. In case anyone is foolish enough to disagree you might want to rewatch his battles against Alain and Diantha.

My guess Ash uses everything trick up his sleeve. Mega evolution and z move. Too bad he can’t dynamax but Greninja’s bond phenomenon fills the hole. Not to mention Ash can use Solgaleo. Add in Melmetal and Naganadel. This will truly be called a Legendary Battle.

This is so fantastic! I really wish we got something like this in the anime before Ash Ketchum retired from the anime. I mean, just imagine if this was really Ash-Greninja returns to Ash, Tobias has more legendary Pokémon, maybe even a Mega legendary, everyone would watch this battle, and most of all, I believe this to be real, Ash's Greninja would finally beat a legendary in a full battle! Ash's 6: Pikachu Charizard Sceptile Infernape Lucario Greninja(if returns, or else Snorlax, Sirfetchd) Note: I didn't take nebby or incineroar or some other "possible" strong Pokemon because these are already established proven powerhouses, ace level Pokemon and this is the final of the finals match so I cannot rely on sheer wildcard Pokemon and expect them to do good. Tobias' original six was Darkrai + 5 Dragons (Watch in Japanese, in English dub they don't reveal that info) We know Tobias'd not use the same Darkrai + Latios duo again since they are revealed and open for further countering. So Tobias 6 would be as follows: Salamence Lugia as alternative for Nuke flying Pokemon to Latios Cresselia or Garchomp for control mage alternative to Darkrai Suicune or Raikou to counter Ash's aces Regigigas Mega Rayquaza as final Ace.

The only problem I have with Tobias is that He had 0 character development. I always wondered what his backstory would've been if we got it. Alain was done right by being given his own miniseries. Please Raf, please please read this please. This is very ambitious and I want this to be a perfection. When you animate don't use pokemon like Nebby or Incineroar or Naganadel or Goodra or you know the type of Pokemon who might look strong but either unproven, not established or having a duty elsewhere like Greninja or Pidgeot. Your available roster of aces are as follows: Pikachu (guaranteed) Charizard Infernape Sceptile Snorlax Gible into Garchomp (if you make timeskip) Sirfecth'd Lucario Dragonite Dracovish -You can remove 4 move limits to make it more interesting. I personally do not give a f about game mechanics that are archaic and left from 1996 just because Gameboy cannot handle more than 4 move per set. I'd like Charizard to have Seismic Toss again. Pikachu to have Electroball + Volt Tackle + Thunderbolt + Iron Tail. -Anime does not care about having same type moves since their usage is clearly different. For example: Electivire can use Thunder for ranged attacks and thunder punch for close combat. Blaziken can use Fire Punch for close combat and flamethrower for ranged. Likewise, Sceptile used Leaf Blade for finisher move at close range while Solar Beam for nuke endings. Infernape used Flare Blitz as a finisher while keeping flamethrower for ranged harassing + wasting protect of Electivire. Same type move don't matter in anime logic in fact it's more beneficial due to STAB. -Don't decrease the value of any aces of Ash. If they are gonna go down without taking one with them at least they should just switch/sub one or two times around to inflict enough damage and do some cool stuff or make people in the arena and in the world shocked just like Sirfetch'd amazing performance against Cynthia. Sure, he couldn't take out Garchomp but it was just 'this' close. And moreover Sirfetch'd refused to faint out. He was standing still. Or some other shocking ways was when Sceptile woke up in the turn 1 of the Dark Void and resisting insane super-effective damages showing his resilience. Also 2 critical leaf blade hit back to back shocking everyone showing how perceptions can be broken by defeating at least 46 rounds streak of UNDEFEATED Darkrai. If they are gonna go down make it count. And I believe that using Nebby and Naganadel and seeing them getting knocked out would just devaluated them. Like we can take Charizard going down any day after him showing some amazing fight, resilience or jaw-dropping fight with insane crazy moments making it memorable. Those would make us go crazy and we'd be happy to see them going down if it comes to that.

Honestly if people actually powerscale correctly, not factoring Tobias growth as a trainer or if he has some bonkers legendary or mythical Pokemon with that's over 670 current ash would slaughter him in a battle. Tobias realistically would small fry legends,ultra beats, mythical or paradox Pokemon with stats of around 570-600. Ash and other elite 4 level trainers and above have beaten lots of Pokemon of this calibre. Ash beat two of Tobias Pokemon when he was way less skilled and had weaker Pokemon with no gimmicks, so current world champion ash with all gimmicks slaughters a realistic Tobias, even if Tobias skills have grown it probably won't be as good as ash's as ash seems to have a way higher growth rate as proven when Paul was superior to him in dp and now ash is quite abit above him or even Alain who was also superior to ash in xy now ash is also clearly superior to current Alain. Tobias getting swept unless he pulls out a gimmick legend or some restricted Pokemon.

Cool fanmade anime episode so far. Some constructive criticism to bring to the table. I like how the clips are presented together, and I also love how you formatted the fanmade episode as if it was the English sub of the Japanese version. I suggest you should maybe match the artstyle of some characters to the modern Pokémon style, also why is Ash Greninja Present?? It’s not like I don’t want him here but I’m just wondering why is he here when he has to protect Kalos from those vines (sorry I forgot some stuff about anipoke). Anyway I’ve sorta got a gripe about reused clips. I’m aware the anime itself does that a lot but in this case it’s not good. I’m fine if you or the team (if you have one) would draw new frames and present them in a slideshow format.
