Rudyard Kipling's 'If'.
I owe this to 'Way of the World'.. I had forgotten about 'If' until I came across an old video today on his channel. It resonated, and I felt the words were important and relevant enough to highlight again, for those not yet familiar.
Artist - Albert Bierstadt

I cried at hearing: “Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools” I am at the stage in my life where this is exactly what I am, both literally and figuratively, doing. I have tears on my face as I type this, because it struck my heart like a hot iron piercing my chest when I heard that line. I am so profoundly depressed picking up these pieces, sanding the rust off these tools. My God, I need the strength of my ancestors. I pray that whoever reads this has not pity for me, but instead heed this warning: always follow your instincts, and invest in your strengths. Don’t let too much time pass to do those big chores life stacks on you. Don’t let too much time pass between visits with people you care about. Don’t let life pass you by.

To whomever reads this, I've recently gone through the foils of absolute tragedy from which I will not go into detail, but I only say this, you can go on. The world is better when you are strong, and the strongest fight is always, the fight against the weakness within our ownselves.

If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream-and not make dreams your master; If you can think-and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’ If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings-nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And-which is more-you’ll be a Man, my son!

What's missing in the "truth" and "pilled" movements is the hope that is found in the delivery, here, in Rudyard Kiplings _If._
@findmeacrosstheroom
@findmeacrosstheroom 5 жыл бұрын
@Pneumatic Tube None of those movements are promising some sort of eternal life or grand notions of a better tomorrow. They're exclusively based in various realities we're subject to, both anecdotally and empirically, and in removing our conditioning in order to see beyond it. That being said, that is the "hope" of these movements, in destroying untrue shackles and allowing you to be free from them. I've never heard "If" before, but its messages flow very steadily and continually, some of them embodying things I've been doing and creating for months and years now. I think it'll be worth taking in several more times.

Now is the time to start being more pro-masculine rather than anti-feminist. Feminism is bullshit sure but dwelling on it just breeds resentment and is a way for the impotent to self-soothe with explanations, as with anyone who bases their sociopolitical worldview on reacting to things they don't like.

I should listen to this in the morning every day that I can. I have a feeling that if content like this is consumed in the morning hours when our brains are the most maliable than one could elevate their way of daily thinking. The way this poem expresses the many complex dichotomies that exist in a mans life means that it could serve as a great foundation for a elevated and much needed way of thinking.

What is means to be a man. That which has been forgotten by most. The enemy did not consider honor is an eternal flame. We might not come back this generation or the next, and it might become very painful, but eventually the darkness will subside and the light will take it's place again.

I just recently stumbled upon your channel and everything you've been talking about resonates with me. I couldn't have worded it better myself. But the synchronicity really hit me hard when I saw you'd made a video on Rudyard Kipling's "If". This is my all time favorite poem. I was introduced to it as a child and have kept it close at heart ever since. They are words I try (but often fail) to live by. I am seriously blown away that you included it here. Six or seven years ago I read and immediately reread Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book ( as well as the short stories and poetry that were all one book ) and although I had seen the animated movie and other screen adaptions, I was captivated by his story of course. I also became captivated by the characters in the jungle, the way the spoke and thought, as well every other detail or explanation and first person descriptions that were so beautifully written. I have since became a true admirer and fan to his work and I believe that he may have been a truly good man and an amazing storyteller and author. Perhaps close to the man in the poem " If "

Rudyard Kipling *The Stranger.* The Stranger within my gate, He may be true or kind, But he does not talk my talk-- I cannot feel his mind. I see the face and the eyes and the mouth, But not the soul behind. The men of my own stock, They may do ill or well, But they tell the lies I am wanted to, They are used to the lies I tell; And we do not need interpreters When we go to buy or sell. The Stranger within my gates, He may be evil or good, But I cannot tell what powers control-- What reasons sway his mood; Nor when the Gods of his far-off land Shall repossess his blood. The men of my own stock, Bitter bad they may be, But, at least, they hear the things I hear, And see the things I see; And whatever I think of them and their likes They think of the likes of me. This was my father's belief And this is also mine: Let the corn be all one sheaf-- And the grapes be all one vine, Ere our children's teeth are set on edge By bitter bread and wine. Another favourite is *ULSTER 1912* by Kipling about the Home Rule crisis in Ireland and could be changed and updated about the mess the West finds itself in today.

You do a wonderful job in composing your videos. A suggestion: take a bit of a hint from "IF". Publish a transcript of your vids. I assume you write it all out anyway so making them available would simply be a matter of uploading somewhere. Some people are good listeners and others prefer text. Even Derbyshire is beginning to release transcripts of his radio podcast going back years. If you don't have a website maybe the guys over at The After Party can help out. G Johnson has mentioned he'd like to get more vids up on his website ??? Maybe you can kill 2 birds with one stone? You're stuff is of the quality that would fit in well at Counter-Currents. Just a suggestion. Would like to see you grow.

I wish to relate to readers why I firmly believe White Nationalist have no chance and have turned out to be their own worst enemies. I apologise for the length of this post but feel the full content of it is needed. I was born in Australia in 1967 of British, Irish and Norwegian decent. In 2005 I met Karen, whom I married later that same year. Karen was also born in 1967, she however was born in London England. Karen and I met at a pro monarchy convention in Sydney. Karen was very race aware, she had lived in many different countries and had observed the cultures of the different peoples. Karen very strongly believes in White culture and the defence of it. But here’s the thing, Karen is half Chinese. Her father is English but her mother is ethically Chinese. Karen absolutely hates being half Chinese! Karen and I decided when we met not to have children. So we have not brought any mixed race people into the world. Both Karen and I have been very keen in our support of the White Nationalist cause. In addition we have both bit by bit woken up to the truth in regards to so much of what has happened in recent history, particularly regarding the Jewish Question. Late last year I joined the online group “Stormfront”, I made it clear to them from the start that my wife Karen is only half white (she is half Chinese and that is something she hates). I explained that a Karen and I had decided not to have children but were keen to support a young white family. However on Thursday night 17th of January 2019 (Australia time) I was quite firmly told that I am not welcome on “Stormfront” by one of their administrative people, a SBWPWW. Because my wife Karen is only half white. I was a little surprised because, as I said above, when I introduced myself late last year on joining their page, I stated very clearly that whilst Karen is only half white she firmly supports the continuation of the white race and that Karen and I had decided not to have children. Indeed I did also post there about our desire to financially support a White family in some small way. Nether the less, an old post of mine received a reply from this administrator headed “You are a race traitor” the message that followed was quite blunt. I decided to reply to his message very politely and to say I accepted how he felt and his honesty. I went on to retell of our efforts to support the white race, culture and more directly a white family. I also privately PM’d him in a friendly manner. He did reply to me saying I was very polite but that nevertheless I was against them and what they are doing. I was their “enemy” his words even after I restated the above! I feel a little sad, that the help I wish to give them is not acceptable to the leadership there and that they maintain I am some sort of race traitor. Also because our cause needs as much support as it can. Or is it my cause? Karen and I married before I was fully on board with the White Nationalist world view (I think Karen knew right from the start and was why she did not want children) so what am I supposed to do? Abandoned the woman who has stood by me through an extremely difficult time in my life, just because of the views of people I have never met other than in the most vague way via the Internet?! Yet with all that I apparently remain an “enemy” in the eyes of many of the White Nationalist movement. Such groups have so very very much against them yet are determined to make enemies out of potential supporters. I will make this story of mine very well known in the general public so that others do not get caught up in what I found myself in.

I am like 1/4 brown and still a huge white nationalist.

DrewPicklesTheDark, and DON’T let anyone tell you that you’re not! I have calmed down a lot since I wrote the above post but wrote it more as a way to wake people up to some realities of the world today. The races have been living side by side in the West for so long now that there are going to be people like yourself and my wife and if they are on side why make enemies of them?!

The Thin Red Line, thanks my friend. My wife and I are both in our 50’s and at any rate it turned out that Karen could not have children anyway, not something we knew at first but we had decided not to have children when we first met anyway. I have been trying to see if someone has a scheme by which people like my wife and I can offer financial help to young white families.

Daveonator even if you had biological children with your wife, they would still be majority white. Stormfront is quickly becoming outdated. They don't speak for the WN movement as a whole.

Daveonator You're lucky that you found a woman so aware and awakened. It's hard being a man in your 20s in the USA trying to find one. Raise a pro-white family with her and you'll be doing our people an honor and a service.
