I really love watching guests in my country trying local food, the reaction is somehow entertaining for me, if you really like doing this kind of things, you should try food night market, they have them in every city, usually Thursday to Sunday night.

Hey guys! Watched and I really like how chill and relaxed you both are. Also, Ashley has such a very pleasant vibe and you cant help but smile whenever she does. ☺️ Anyway for good Filipino food, you might try Gerry's Grill, Manam, Kanin Club, and Crisostomo. For a proper introduction to Filipino food, you'd have to try pork sisig, chicken inasal, beef caldereta, sinigang (it can be pork, seafood, beef), beef bulalo, and kare kare. You cant miss out on the ubiquitous adobo as well (it can be pork, chicken, beef, lamb, squid, vegetables)! ☺️ Also, you might want to try a food crawl in the Binondo area of Manila in the oldest China Town in the world. You can have dumplings, buns, noodles, stews, etc. over there. You've seen the American and Hispanic influence so that would show you more of the Chinese/oriental influence as well. 👌🏼 Hope this is helpful info for the both of you. Enjoy Manila and the rest of the Philippines!

It's so nice to see you loved Jollibee burger and spaghetti. I don't like much the spaghetti as it is sweet for my taste, but glad you liked it, even the burger. Because others also may prefer Mcdo. I loved the tuna pie, too. Jollibee is a PH brand, which is the counterpart of Mcdonalds. You can see Jollibee branches all over the world, in UK and esp. in US, Canada and even in Europe like Spain, Italy and Asia as well. Enjoy!

On your next visit, try the Palabok Fiesta ( local noodle dish with a distinct 'fishy' sauce ), Peach Mango Pie and the Pineapple Juice. If you are there in the morning, any of their rice meals would be a treat - Tapsilog, Longsilog or Corned Beef-silog. Enjoy!

Good Job guys your channel is growing. I was here like few days ago and now you're almost 10k. I m not surprised because Filipinos really love foreigners featuring the country. By the way Jollibee started as an ice cream parlor in 1975 and the rest is history. Jollibee's spaghetti is sweet because it was intended for the Kids and also that's how Filipinos are making spaghetti. We like sweets and vinegary flavor food.

For filipino food, try mesa grill or manam . They have branches in greenbelt. Try the sizzling sisig, adobo, sinigang, bicol express, lumpia shanghai . Go for garlic rice always in meals and halo-halo for dessert

you can extend to 3 months. try Aristocrat restaurant in front of the US Embassy. Try Crisostomo restaurant, they only cook filipino dish. Try Bulalo, menudo, crispy pata, lechon kawali, lumpiang sariwa, shanghai eggroll. Try aros caldo. Try turon, banana que. Try fish ball. Try balut or penoy. Go to Tagaytay, and try bulalo by jennefer restaurant, overlooking taal volcano.

Best one is the spicy chickenjoy which is way more better than the original, even some foreigners said so. The spaghetti includes banana ketchup where the sweetness came from. The most famous pie from Jollibee is the peach mango. A lot of guys prefer it. You should also try the Aloha Burger (my favorite). It's a double-burger patty with bacon and pineapple. Jollibee's authentic Filipino food is the pancit fiesta aka fiesta noodles aka palabok. It's a glass noodles with pork and seafood taste. Another 100% Filipino food at the Jollibee are the breakfast meals. Which is available every morning, obviously. SiLog are combo meals consist of meat, egg and garlic/fried rice. SiLog is a combined word where "Si" came from the word Sinangag (garlic rice or fried rice in English) and "Log" came from the word Itlog (egg in English). Example of SiLog meals are.. TapSiLog - Tap is from Tapa (dried or cured beef) Tocilog/Tosilog) - Toc from tocino (sweet red pork Hotsilog - hot from hotdog Cornsilog - corn from corned beef I'm glad you toured the manila metro. Most of the tourist ditched the metro and go straight to the provinces, tropical islands and beaches. I think your videos about the manila metro will gather more views because it's not common travel destination from the travel vloggers. Good luck and take care always. God bless

It was so sad to hear Agave in BGC closed down. There are just a few branches left. I did some digging and fortunately, they just moved to another location in BGC. I think I remember my friend (an Agave fan) mentioned that during the pandemic when some restaurants were being allowed to open as long as you have al fresco, Agave wasn't allowed by the bldg mgt bec the structure wasn't really considered al fresco bec maybe it had a ceiling?? I think that's what made them consider moving elsewhere (now in Avida).

Try eating at Mang Inasal. It's a sister company of Jollibee. Their chicken BBQ is so yummy, moreso when you dip it in a sauce that you make by mixing soy sauce, vinegar, calamansi, and red chili. Suggest you order it with 'unli' (unlimited) rice. They also give you free soup. It's really good value for money.

@@AshandKels The weather is alot cooler there this time of the year. Alot of trees especially Pine Trees very relaxing place. Not as posh as Manila, but you are going to enjoy the outdoors. The journey through baguio is best if you have a motorcycle to enjoy the winding roads and at times roads are narrow.

I have been to London for a year in the 90's and Mickey Do (Mc Donald's) is their American fastfood there. Jollibee is a wonderful fastfood restaurant here in the Philippines and children love it so much that many of Filipino kids grew up eating Jollibee foods. We have a phrase "Batang Jollibee" that means a kid who grew up in Jollibee products. Even my kids have been celebrating their birthdays inside Jollibee function rooms. I'm glad you are also liking their foods. You should also try Palabok and Mango Pie, they are my personal favorites. So long Ash & Kels, have a nice day always!

There are 10 Jollibee stores in the UK now I believe in London, Liverpool, Cardiff, Edinburgh, etc. :) Here is my recommendation for their menu the next time you try Jollibee 1. Aloha Burger 2. Creamy Macaroni Soup 3. Peach Mango Pie 4. Palabok Fiesta 5. Cheesy Strawberry Pie 6. Pineapple Juice 7. Ube Pie 8. Hot Choco drink during breakfast meal. You can upgrade to a Pineapple Juice for all those drinks on the menu by the way. Cheers!

Thanks for appreciating Jollibee. The Spaghetti is kinda Sweet not because of Tomato Sauce but rather of BANANA KETCHUP. Nxt time, if ever, pls try Peach-Mango Pie and Pineapple Juice because its real and pure (not synthetic) from the Philippine Plantations of Pineapple and Banana by Del Monte and Dole that is being Exported around the World.

BTW make sure you try Palabok.. that is definetely a Filipino food in Jollibee- I think Goldilocks have that too ( I guessed) - if Singapore have CKT (char kway teow), Thailand ( pad Thai), Korean (Jap chae) - Philippines have palabok they are all unique noodle recipes!

When you’re back in UK try Jollibee in Leicester Square- I think they also just opened one in Cardiff( I guessed).. the gravy here in UK is not thesame and the spaghetti sauce is a bit runny.. ! will you be visiting ChinAtown too?

As a Filipino I always prefer to eat Jollibee food products because it's chiefly a huge Filipino food chain company that is now globally famous. I specifically like "pancit palabok" and chickenjoy. I think there are now two branches of Jollibee back in your country, one in London and one in Liverpool. Enjoy your meal guys.

So glad you enjoyed your first Jollibee fast food experience. Did you know there's a couple of Jollibee places in England which opened about a year or couple of years ago? Have fun at your next travel destination. You might have to extend your stay in the Philippines as there are over 7K slands to choose from where you can experience the culture, local food, natural wonders and the local people. Every region has their own special food delicacy.. Do check them out. Also, do try some of our most popular national dishes as follow: 1. Lechon (crispy suckling pig - - best lechon in Manila is Mila's Lechon in Laloma, Quezon City or House of Lechon if you are in Cebu City); 2. Chicken Inasal at Aida's Manokan in Bacolod City; 3. Bulalo beef dish is tender melt in your mouth beef shanks and bone marrow in light clear beef broth soup with vegetables, best find at Josephine's in Tagaytay, where you can also view the Taal Volcano filled by Taal Lake. 4. Balut, Isaw, Adidas, Betamax, Chicharon Bulaklak, Kwek-Kwek and Fried Fish Ball- these are all savoury street food. 5. Bananacue and Turon (Fried Banana Plantain coated in caramelised sugar and put on skewer or wrapped in crispy spring roll, these are also Street food but on the sweet side. 6.
