Cats jump fast like snakes strike , the tail is snake like , cats have diamond heads much like poisoned snakes yes cats hiss like snakes cats have curved claws like snake fangs, snakes have a arrow type tongue and cats have spikes on tongue on and on other extremities both snakes and cats have the same shape pupils

Cats being interdimensional could be why they carry traits of other animals, like u said. If u imagine other dimensions of existence as geographic locations across a landscape... small cats that live along w ppl may inhabit a spot on that landscape that manifests as snakelike energies. Big jungle cats inhabit other areas of that extradimensional geography, that lends itself to bearlike energies. So its like cats can go to extradimensional spaces and traverse the intangible landscape of archetypes in order to embody certain traits of other beings. Like how some butterflies manifest wing patterns to mimic a larger face, or some bugs have bodies that mimic specific plants or other bugs, for camoflauge. Not a cat person but they are fascinating animals
