What a great adventure Patrick, I was blown away by all the trees that were downed. Old man tip: put an extra foam mic muff under the lining in your helmet, it's always there and easy to stash. Vstrom 650 is such a wonderful machine. I'll have to get rid of mine sometime soon with the addition of big V1050. It will hurt to see it go. Some days you just need to feel the dirt under the tires.

Beautiful ride. My wife and I were camping in the mountains a couple weeks ago and took my Vstrom 1000. We saw a lot of downed trees also. Looked like the locals were stuck for a while until the roads were cleared. That's the coolest looking helmet. Ride on Brother...

@@bobnelson2499 it is so good to be able to get out and ride in some places! I have a Scorpion EXO modular helmet. I do like it, but as with most helmets, I can hear the wind more than I’d like, but it’s very comfortable!
