The music doesn't bother me as much anymore because I rarely listen to the radio as I listen the Spotify. I also can drive hours with no music or sound so when I do want to listen to Christmas music I listen to it through Spotify and pick and choose. Little drummer boy is one of my big favorites as well.

@@alfredmccoy5182 The size is very intimidating at first. Give it a few days of riding, and you’ll find it’s as easy, or even easier to ride than some others you may have ridden. The weight is all down low, making it very easy to maneuver. (Not to mention the low seat height) Ride one, get used to starting and stopping without paddling your feet, then get comfortable at speed. Very good topic. I have though about doing something myself... like the brett tcak training. Grant it they help you a lot and i'm not saying they aren't good but man it was like $1200 for the weekend. Hard to swing that with everything else going on. I would try and practice more on my own but like roger said, if i'm practicing bad/wrong is it helpful or not.

😂🤣😂 I’m ok as long as it starts after Thanksgiving, ends by the New Year. I don’t mind the occasional Christmas songs before any time of the year, but not all Christmas music from Halloween through the New Year!😂😂

When I see accidents like that, I think ... Geez! had I left the house earlier would that Semi had taken me out? Enjoy your time in Floriday with your mom, when your parents are gone it creates a void that never gets filled. One of those life lessons we don't comprehend until they are gone. I wish I had back all the times I said I'll go over some other day, I'm tired, I'm this or that, life is precious.

@@verbalwidget0919 I wonder about that same thing when I see accidents as well! A few minutes earlier, and who knows what could have happened…. I think we all look back at the times we didn’t do something, like spend more time with our parents. That whole, “life gets in the way thing”, I guess all we can do is try to make sure we don’t have any more similar regrets as we keep aging. I hope I am (forcing) my son to spend enough time with me that he’ll never have the same thoughts when I’m gone…. Merry Christmas Dave!

I'm incredibly old, but I grew up in a time where Christmas was not in stores until the day after Thanksgiving, seeing Christmas items in stores before that is a turn off for me and only shows the corporate greed. I like the WW2 era Christmas music, it seems to have more purity to it, Charlie Brown Christmas music only because I'm a Charlie Brown look alike 🤣😂

@Motoramblings Thanks Patrick. The Spirit of Christmas was originally a Ray Charles song and this Christian band ( The Sidewalk Properts) has done a remake. I actually like their version over Ray's version. Yes, I have a thumb drive loaded with Christmas songs in my car. I'll plug it in time to time. Here's to a Happy and prosperous New Year to you.

I can only speak for myself, Christmas music has to be in limited small doses. Definitely should not start before Thanksgiving and as far as I am concerned, it can be cut off on Dec 26th. But that is just for me.

Mate, my wife's favourite time of the year is Christmas. Which means that the Christmas tree and the music go up from the day after Halloween. Drives me nuts! 🙂

Iron Mountain, Needles highway and Spearfish Canyon are great rides. I guess I went the wrong way through Iron Mountain or was so distracted by rest of the scenery, I didn’t see Mount Rushmore when I rode it.

Patrick, your videos are great, but the background music is a touch too loud, sometimes even overpowering your voice. You could actually omit the music, your voice and the sound of the bike are just fine.

@@Visionery1 I have had struggles with the music thing! I often feel it adds to a video, and during editing I think the volume is ok, then when I hear it on KZbin, I shake my head because it’s much louder than what I heard. I think you’re right, I should probably just omit it completely. I do have a couple more videos from SD that have music. I left a lot of riding in the video that has no talking, (scenery), hopefully it will be ok. After that I should just use music when I’m not talking, which is very rare!😂 Thanks so much for watching, and for the feedback. It helps! Merry Christmas, Patrick

@@Motoramblings some video editing software does automatically reduce the music volume when you start talking. Maybe use music, but have it softer than your voice, reducing even more when you start talking.
