We'll be back in the Peak District again in the not too distant future and would love to know of any other hiking trails you'd recommend that we didn't do in this mini 4-part series (so not Monsal Dale, Bamford and Stanage Edge, The Roaches and Luds Church and the Edale Valley side of Kinder Scout).

Hi Caroline, sometime ago I came across one of your videos about Cornwall, cause I felt in love with Cornwall this summer, and then I realized you've made so many videos about other places I love (West US, Scotland, Lake District) and I'm still watching all of them one by one You can't believe how much it's helpful to look at your videos, especially to improve my english, looking and listening to one person speaking everyday english about topics and places I love 🤩🤩 thank you so much for all the passion and genuinity you put in all your videos, not to mention their excellent quality as well 👏👏👏

Hi Giulia, this is such a lovely comment to have come home from work to read - thank you so much 🙏 I'm still a little embarrassed by how terrible those USA videos are - it was quite the learning curve, but really pleased you're enjoying watching them, along with the Scotland and Lake District ones too. Stating this channel, I'd hoped to be able to help people with their own travels, but I've learnt that by speaking English, it's helping non-native English speakers which is amazing, and you're another person to have said this. Do you mind me asking what your native language is?

Hi Caroline, we're italian, actually I'm Marco, the couple "masculin" half 😊 you can see us in our channel - our videos are really embarassing 😂😂😂 anyway I guess your intention is to help people travelling, and you do, especially people with the same attitude as you towards nature and wildlife but having reached an intermediate level, it can gets boring to keep on listening teachers speaking about grammar, whilst something interesting can really make the difference, and moreover your english is "clean"👏👏

I really liked the look of the tiny part of the Monsal Trail that we saw, because like you said, it's traffic free. Maybe on our next visit we should rent a couple of bikes and cycle the whole thing

Love the viaduct, I can imagine a giant steam train rolling across it in times gone by. Tunnel was interesting, you really don't want to be in there when they turn the lights off! Cool that you were recognised, you now have official celebrity status! I've enjoyed your Peak District videos, it's certainly a peaceful and relaxing area of the country (except for those motorbikes!).

Haha, those darn motorbikes!!! Yeah I'd thought that about the tunnels, that worry of, what if I miscalculate how long it will take! I was so chuffed to be recognised. I appreciate when I'm waving around a vlogging camera with a huge fluffy mic on top, if I seem recognisable and you think it could be me... and I'm holding that, you'll have a bit more confidence in asking, in comparison to if there was no camera! Out of curiosity, have you been recognised yet?

I'd be over the moon if I have 10k subscribers one day 🙌🤞 But getting to meet someone who watches my channel who isn't a friend or family member was so exciting - hasn't happened again since though! Cheers to you too

Hi Khatoon. Thank you for your kind words. It was one of those things that you knew at some point would happen, but it's still a shock when it has done. I too remember when Diana died. I was doing an organised bike ride, a really big event and at the finishing line there were huge crowds and all sorts going on. There were speakers, and in the days before smartphones and social media, it was announced over the speakers and everyone was so shocked. At least Queen Elizabeth was able to live a long and good life! The UK is a funny one when it comes to place names as we have multiple places with the same name. The Ashford you've researched is the one not too far away from me in Kent. It's much bigger than the one I visited in this video and is home to Ashford International Train station which the Eurostar serves allowing access to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam by rail. I didn't know much more about Ashford in Kent other than that so it's been really interesting to read your research!
