Sorry to say Ashir bhai but punjab resisted against British. Sikh empire had considerable muslims in its armies. The problem with Punjab was that we had an internal conflict between muslims and sikhs. Punjab was the last state major adversary that british waited to invade. It was not until Ranjit Singh died that british started to fight against punjab. The problem with punjab was internal conflict with sikhs. When sikhs started to subjugate muslims there were muslim revolts notable how punjab sided with Shah Wali Ullah. The chieftains of punjab sided with british to tackle the sikh-muslim problem.

As always, each episode of your vlog offers a new perspective on positive thought. I fully agree with your analysis and the proposed solutions to these conflicts. I believe that over 80% of the population is already aware of these issues, but the leadership, including certain individuals in key military positions who lack personal stakes in Pakistan, remain disconnected from the gravity of the situation. They continue to exploit resources without regard for the long-term impact, ultimately abandoning the country. I remain hopeful for better times and believe that we must contribute to the nation's progress within our capacities.

Ashir bhie U r Our Hero U r in Our Heart ❤ Apny Pakistan man Change k lye Bht Efferts ki thi
Baluchis consist of 3%, Pashtuns about 15%, and Punjabis over 50% of Pakistan thus their higher, but not disproportionate representation in Govt.. Punjabis in the Army are mainly from the arid Potohar region where the British recruited soldiers much before partition and its still a traditional there. You will agree that the Army ISSB test requires prowess and a mindset which is not for everyone, despite Bhutto’s “quota system” of 1971 where the qualifying height for Sind and Baluchistan was rolled back from 5’6” to 5’4” and a new Sind Regiment garrisoned in Hyderabad. Sadly the Sindhi recruitment is low despite ongoing efforts. Still, the Punjabi numbers in the Military is around 50%, likely less in the Officers grades and PAF/Navy. Ironically, almost all dictators our country got were non-Punjabi. Ayub, Yahya, Musharraf. Everyone except Zia. This flies in the face of your thesis of a “bad Punjabi army”. Ayub, Yahya, Bhutto (with Tikka Khan) and Musharraf (who murdered Nawab Bugti then came on national TV to brag about it) were directly responsible for the chaos in Baluchistan. In fact Gen. Zia provided amnesty to the Baluch and Pashtun and peace was restore. Facts cannot be changed. You should know better than most, that the COAS and his close generals are directly responsible for the Army’s follies. Punjab and Punjabis are just a favorite scapegoat which has outlived its usefulness. You talk about your memorable years in Baluchistan befriending sons of Sardars and glorifying their way of life, but have you ever lived in a Punjabi or Sindhi village where backbreaking toil and poverty is a common occurrence amongst other vile and violent incarcerations. You talk of the dark migration of 1947. Trekking over corpses to Pakistan; the old man’s heart would break today seeing his grand children still suffering. Agreed that the rich central plains of Punjab and Sind have been bereft with inequality, and the waderas and Chaudhries are cruel, but that is changing as land is getting fragmented. It may take longer in Sind given the size of holdings. But tell me what have the Sardars of Baluchistan and Malik’s of Pakhtunkwa done for their people despite getting regular levies and development funds from the Govt. I hear they discouraged schooling for decades and their people would come to Punjab and Sind to study. To strengthen your argument of “bad Punjabis” you conveniently removed the Sikhs from Punjab because they were the most formidable against the British, more so then the Baluch or Pashtuns who would ambush and then vanish into inhospitable terrain. Raja Ranjit Singh had many Muslim fighters in his army and scholars as his close aids because they shared a similar language and culture. Not only did they keep the British at bay but pushed the Pashtuns to the Kabul river. As regards your lists of HiFi values, maybe you would like to tell me why poor laborers passing through their territory are pulled out of buses and executed and innocent citizens are kidnapped and held in these areas for ransom? Punjab has a long and storied history of Saints, Sufis, Poets and folklore. All they preached was love, brotherhood and peace. If you don’t believe me read up on Baba Bulleh Shah, Waris Shah, Shah Inayat. Then make your own list for Punjab. We all know that the crux of the problem, as you do, is successive military juntas controlling and usurping all political and economic resources. You are just using the “Punjabi” card to play to the gallery and/or securing a safe passage for yourself to return home one day. I almost forgot, the three reasons for making Pakistan was not by the Punjabis. Only two of your reasons are valid. The first is that Mr. Jinnah espoused a two nation theory of Muslims and Hindus on which the creation of Pakistan was based. The second point was the language issue. Punjabis already had a rich language, In fact they sacrificed their own culture and heritage for the sake of Pakistan’s unity and embraced Urdu to the detriment of Punjabi. Close associates of the Quaid, mostly from Urdu speaking UP convinced Mr. Jinnah to have a unifying language as India had opted for Hindi. Obviously none of them were aware of the cultural and social implications. The point you shrugged off with a grin about the Khilafat Movement was a very significant moment in the Muslim Ummah’s memory and many lost their lives. Since you may be unaware of its importance I’ll let you have a “hall pass” on this one

Interesting thought, Ashir Bhai, but i have a few reservations. Sub nationalism essentially means that you are to stand for your own nation, not for the whole country. When sub nationalism is supplemented by populism, which is very easy to implement in Pakistan due to lack of literacy & critical thinking, it will ultimately always lead to anarchy & chaos type scenarios. This will still continue to happen regardless of whether they get their real leadership or the fake one. Populists will always blame Punjab regardless of what Punjab does. Your thought pattern is good because you are a good man, but you are judging it more like the Canadian people. I dont think it will be the case for the people here.

Just a little hateful tone for "Punjab" and "Punjabis"; not observed at the outset but can be observed while reading between the lines and observing your non-verbals. Seems like you do not like Punjabi culture, you might have had certain bad experiences. In your previous videos you mentioned a sentence the British had coined. "If you want to rule the Baloch, honour them. If Punjabis, just rule them". I do not know whether your diagnosis of the Punjabi inferiority is correct or false. I just know that it exists, very subtly, in your messages. Best of luck dear.
