It was Peter Hill-Wood who said no. David Dein was pushed into a corner and had no choice. Dein has since said it was the one that still hurts him most and publicly apologised for not doing more to keep him. I just hope Cole accepts it now. I still despise him though. Simply because it was Chelsea he joined. The same club he was caught being tapped up by. He needs to realise how betrayed he left the fans feeling. What happened with his wages wasn't the fault of the fans. He knew the hurt he would cause joining Chelsea. They have always been our second most hated rivals in London.

Yet he knew how much a move to Chelsea would hurt the fans who idolised him and did everything to wind up the fans after he left. The man is a prick. No class whatsoever. You don’t treat a club you’ve supported since a kid in that way by joining their most hated rivals like he did. As I said, it was thanks to that dinosaur Hill-Wood that he didn’t get his deal. Yet looking at it, he did get more than he asked for in the end and he still did what he did. What does that say about Ashley Cole? The bad mouthing he did about David Dein in his book was bang out of order. Dein had the class to apologise to him on TalkSport. That’s what you call class. @@jamesmassin7982 Best team in the country? The last epl title they had won was in 04-05. During Cole's time with Chelsea 06-14, utd won the epl 6 times, Chelsea and Man City once each. The best finish for Arsenal during that time was 3rd in 07-08, 09-10 and 11-12. Fa Cup 06-14 Chelsea won 4 Fa cups in that time. Arsenal never made it to any final in that time until 13-14. Ucl 06-14 After that 05-06 final that Arsenal lost, they haven't made it back. Utd won in 08 and lost 2 finals. Chelsea won in 11 and lost one final. Soooo, help understand why you think Arsenal was the best time?
