The way the club spoke about The Kickoff was so strange to me, not even because they said it was bad, I'm actually fine with them doing that to an extent. But the way they spoke about it, if you'd never watched The Kick-off before, you'd genuinely think they'd only been guests on the show a couple of times, so when they're saying "It's not as good as it used to be" trying to come across as objective, but then not saying that THEY were the hosts, so the basic implication being that they made the show better, which again, fine, if they want to hold that opinion, got ahead, but actually say that. Furthermore the kick was the best football show on YT, better than the club and better than this new iteration of the kick off. If it were me. I would've strategized with brian and loz how to fix this and re launch the brand. I'd never of abandoned him. Loyalty is everything. Sad to see. He didn't deserve it.

Worked in professional broadcasting for over 20 years. The problem with KZbin is that the majority are amateurs running on ego. They buy into their own BS and in their minds think they are seasoned pros. Just like with the boxing it’s embarrassing. Everyone wants fame but nobodies prepared to work for it. The talking over each other did my head in and just wreaks of amateurism.

“The podcaster, whose real name is Brian Davis, was asked by one of his fans during a livestream whether he would fight the former kickboxer. Davis looked annoyed at the suggestion and his podcast colleague, Lawrence McKenna, said True Geordie would never win that fight because Tate has 'God on his side' now. Brian then said he would gladly 'blow myself up if I could take that f**king s**tbag with us'. McKenna jumped in to say that was a problematic stereotype about Islamic people, but Davis double downed. "I'm just saying, if he really wanted to prove it, do the right thing," Brian said while chuckling to himself. The joke didn't go down well and many on social media called the pun Islamophobic.”

Geodie cancellation was crazy especially how KSI said an equally offensive joke after and had all his friends laughing and all he had to do was say sorry and everyone carried on like normal. on the comedian point i do think if stephen tries or W2S or someone like Jimmy Carr said it no one would have blinked
@Bakugan9458 ай бұрын
Difference in my opinion is the persona put across and how accountable they are, for example everyone knows with Stephen tries 99% of what he says is a joke that has no real meaning and with jimmy carr he’s purely telling jokes and pushing the boundaries. Brian multiple times went on record calling people out for being wrong (which was part of his charm initially) with the likes of Logan Paul etc. if he’s going to have this power to call people out when it comes to social media it also comes with the responsibility of being perfect from a pr side yourself, so yeah he can say Logan Paul you are awful for filming that Forrest, but he can’t then make a racially motivated joke and have that be looked at as a joke and overlooked. Just my opinion though if you get what I’m saying
