I wish Ashley would’ve remained on B&B and become a staple. She’s a great match for Ridge Forrester and should’ve become his long term wife. She’s a great rival to Brooke. It was refreshing to see a new strong contender after a decade of Brooke/Taylor love triangle. Ridge and Ashley together is great stuff and it connects the Forresters to Y&R lore. While Taylor is gorgeous, what Ashley had over Brooke was that classy educated old school mystique that intimidated Brooke. And Ashley having a romantic history with Rick is brilliant! I miss this laboratory set, it’s nice to see it here.

ridge's mind was always made up as to what woman he wanted. he stayed with taylor out of obligation and guilt. if taylor had gone woman to woman with brooke, then they could have settled it years ago. but, taylor used stephanie, those kides, and her elusion of moral superiority to keep ridge at her side. funny, when the truth came out about james, he couldn't leave her fast enough. brooke, however, he ALWAYS, chose to FORGIVE, no matter what she did.

brooke logan has never been insecure. a woman is only secure when she is not sure that a man is in love with her. ridge has never given brooke any reason not to believe that he was in love with her - even when he was married to taylor. taylor was the insecure one, who used her kids and stephanie try and keep ridge.
