Dinosaur has high notes Suhyun doesn't like doing and her brother promised that she wouldn't have to perform it live. Well, it became a pretty popular song so she ends up singing it live quite often, and she punched him for that.

Eleven years of composing and singing provides a lot of AKMU to react to. They have social commentary songs too, such as "Melted " and "Hey Kid; Close Your Eyes ". While Chanhyuk was in the military, Suhyun was a radio talk show host, and toured Europe as a performer with other excellent musicians in the Begin Again series and in Korea during the Begin Again Korea series. Suhyun was also a core performer on the "Sea of Hope" series which included BLACKPINK Rose'. Wonderful music.

4:50 Correct. AKMU is a self-produced group. Like the real selfproduced (not just involved), because all of their songs are mainly produced by Lee Chanhyuk (both writing and composing) and other collaborators joined in to make the song more solid. Thus made Lee Chanhyuk become a Full Member of KOMCA, along with another notable idol producer like GDragon, Woozy, Zico, Mino, Kang Seungyoon, etc.

AKMU is a great live performer, even their concert tour is nominated as The Best Concert Tour along with IU's HEREH, NCT's, and Day6's. They have so many good songs that still being listened daily by general public all over the world, mainly korea, Japan, and South East Asia. Since they had performed around that regions

7:25 this song is called Time and Fallen Leaves. Which is my fave song from them, Suhyun mentioned in the video that this is the first time they sang this live. You should check out the full song if you have time, it's really good.

Lee Suhyun pursued a solo career while her brother was in the military. She's got loads and loads of solo songs including, yes, actual Disney princess songs.

I liked Akdong Musicians since their Kpopstar Audition days... I think u can still find the clip of their self composed song "Don't cross your leg" somewhere... Suhyun is so darn good at singing harmonies... I suggest u check out her duet cover of the song "Flashlight" with Sohyang...

Yea akmu produces their own music.. chan hyuk is credited for their composing and producing and arrangements and both he and suhyun have been credited for songwriting.. chan hyuk have also written songs for other artists including a song for IU

they're really an underrated duo fr 😩💜 the first song i heared from them like sooo many yrs ago; Bean Dduk Bingsoo is such a bop then found out IT WAS A SONG FOR A BINGSOO AD LMAOOO they are actual musicians so i think it differs from popstars/kpop

Some context: they have a really close relationship with IU. Nakka (the song before love lee in the video) for example, they sang it with IU, or Ah puh (an IUs song is composed by him). Anyway the last song in the video was first sang in their 1st concert with IU in 2014 and it s called fry's dream when she went to perform as a guest and sang the song together with them. After all these years, when they guested in IU's palette show, they agreed there was a misunderstanding since they thought they gave the song to IU and IU didnt think the same.. so after that episode they agreed to have them finally publish the song and they did when love lee came out Ps IU , while on tour, went as a guest singer at their 10th anniversary concert. Because she was their first guest singer in 2014, and last in 2024. (Obv they went to perform as guests at her concert too, not this year tho, if I remember correctly it should be in 2019)

also that last song Suhyun sang they originally intended it for IU... but IU didn't realise she had permission to use it.. long story short IU "gave" the song back to AKMU for release (explained in IU's Pallete episode with AKMU as guest)
