This deck has won alot for me, store championships included. My sideboard is different and I run 0 soul partitions. instead running 2 more chart a course and 1 requisition raid main. Sideboard I run 2 ephara's dispersal over anointed peacekeeper and instead of 3rd negate and soul partition, I run 2 disdainful stroke. Deck is the truth. I'll be taking it to a couple more store champs looking for a playset of urza sagas

I'm a big proponent for all 4 Chart a Course in the main, too. I also run the full set of Shore Up with no Surge of Salv or Three Steps (used the Rare WCs on lands instead, will definitely jam in the future)

Mentor feels well positioned in the meta. If graveyard hate becomes more prominent it may shift.

Playing Urza's Sylex is one thing (is a domain counter) but activating it for no reason to kill your board without mana to search is such a power move

Season of the Burrow goes hard in this deck. I've been playing this deck for a few weeks in the new meta, and my winrate skyrocketed when I added that in. Indestructible just makes your key creatures so much better.

Idk if this deck can make it in Bo1, but I am close to top 1000 with mono blue in Bo1, and this deck is very similar, which makes me think you could tech this deck to do well in that environment.

Temporary Lockdown is such a broken spell for 3 mana. Mana cost for transformed creatures should count the transform cost, but it doesn't, making this broken AF

Why is it called mentor when it seems like haughty djinn is doing most of the work?

More because mentor has been a powerful strategy in legacy for years and a lot of old player like the name better because it gives you some of the feeling the old mentor decks gave you in legacy
