Hi ashylnne, Please make a video on how to do the tasks when we are not in a mood to do anything and wants to just lay down. How do you do all your works without feeling lazy/overwhelmed? Please do make one video on this, it will be helpful!. Love from India.

Heyyy Ashlynne! I was just thinking that I’d LOVE to see a “minimalist car tour video”! When I drive I don’t feel comfortable but I’d like to feel less stressed while taking long drives in a decluttered car

Your 10/7 rule sounds like our "Resetting the Battlefield pick up".... we have two kids 4 & 3yo and a 900sqft house.... each night my husband and I (with the kids most nights) run around and tidy up the whole house. Which is so easy to do in our simplified home. So nice to start fresh each day ♡

I love that you include the kids in the process as well. Good family bonding and helps to create values and habits. ☺️

A big rule would be: if clutter keeps building up in a certain area, those things need a home somewhere else, or in a new storage solution, or that category needs to be decluttered to eliminate overflow. Don’t attack the whole house: notice the problem areas and work on those to figure out why it’s happening and what the best solution might be.

One of my favourite habits has been keeping a wish list, this could be anything from makeup to a holiday. When i'm considering making a purchase, i ask myself if it's worth getting over saving for something on my list. Most of the time it stops me wasting money on things less important to me.

Having a quick tidy up every day is so useful! If I can’t do my full nightly tidy up routine, I set a timer for 1 minute per room and then do what I can within that time. Love that you say look inside cupboards, drawers etc. So many people forget that even clutter you can’t see can sometimes make you feel uneasy (it does for me 😅)

Great video, thank you Ashlynne 🙏🏻 I need to implement the 24 hour wait for purchases as I have phases of impulse shopping (mostly books so probably should look for a library even though most don’t have many books in English).
@corinna_maybe2 жыл бұрын
I recently joined my local library (finally!) and now it's much easier to declutter books because I know I can access them again if I really wanted to. I also live in a non English speaking country and prefer to read in English so what I did is join the biggest library and rent the English eBooks which is also possible if you don't live in the city with the library :) I still have a lot of physical books but I enjoy the calmness of just having my favourites around and a lot more available at the drop of a hat. And for the books not available at the library I created a wishlist that I share with friends and family before Christmas and my birthday. Happy reading to you 💕📚
