I can't tell if this is dig at her, or not. It's deliberate distortion, it's not like Daft Punk was trying to pass as actual robots instead of two guys with Vocoders. People said the same stuff about Roger Troutman and his voicebox back in the day, which later became the voice of G-funk and westside hiphop. 2pac & Dr. Dre famously sampled him on California Love. He was also a great vocalist, just as Ashnikko is. Plus, there is not even close to that amount of effect here. Musicians are free to use technology to form their art to how they want it to sound.
