This was my favorite piece... if I am ever going to have one again. This is my farewell to my orchestra. Not until another 2 years, when I have a black violin to stand out and the courage to do a solo.

I shall show up easily in an orange sea of violins as a black spot. (Don't laugh at me. I will be a soloist.)

to boy who played the fiddle so well, you very talented...excellently done...this song is so is beautiful and is made inspirational by Ken's Burns and the Civil War...I have heard it in so many formats and it gives me chills...it was a song after its time...really...what would Lincoln, Grant and Lee think of it? I think well...Now, as I know Minster Farrakhan is quite the fiddle player himself...I, as a white man invite him to stop the racial wall and to play this song before his death as I respect the Minister of a man of his word and of GOD, even if different from my GOD and isn't that the message of the war...? Nice
