ASHP Installation

I recently decided to bite the bullet and get an ASHP to mainatin my summer temperatures of 24C - 25C.
I have managed in the past with just a 1kw elecro heater for 7 hours a day on economy 7 that would manage between 20C - 24C dependant on the ambient temperature.
But I usually had to cover the pond overnight with polycarbonate until late June and then again at the end of August into September.

Thanks mate 👍 I got the armaflex lagging from JTM plumbing, You can get a slightly cheaper brand called rubaflex, but i find the seams don't stick as well as the armaflex. they do have some bargain in lagging atm too, in eurobatex unsplit nitrile rubber. but it's a hassle gluing the seams you have to cut yourself back together, or sliding it along the pipe beore fitting.... www.jtmplumbing.co.uk/insulation-c555
