Maybe larger hook with heavier yarn to increase the size of the squares? I'd think adding about 1" should be sufficient 🤷♀️

@@ediebegonia I'm currently making one for my paperback ACOMAF. Its a pretty thick book, but you can just continue to add rows until it is big enough to encase the book. :)

I do have a question I did not Ask earlier though… If you want to make one Of these for a thicker book do you add more granny squares or do you make a thicker border..?
@AshtenStitches2 ай бұрын
I guess it depends on how thick the book is! These have a bit of stretch since I use acrylic yarn, and even after blocking it still does stretch! But you can always modify this by making bigger squares or adding a thicker border, or even changing it up and adding granny squares as the border to add some width to it! I hope that makes sense!! Lol

can we block the squares before putting the border? or is it better to block it once they’re all connected?
@AshtenStitches8 ай бұрын

My question is how chains do I make to begin a granny square. Thank you for sharing your beautiful pattern. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I definitely believe everyone should try to learn and practice the magic circle at some point, BUT I know that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea! So you can always chain like 4-6 chains and connect them to make your circle!
