Street photography is an art . And we photographer as an artist we try to focus on a story behind the frame/photo. But sometimes there are so many photos which have no story behind them , emotionless but it's candid, and also clicked in public places. My question is - are those photos are really street photography? If yes, then we see that many people cannot understand it/those photo and in my opinion if I present my work and people really understand it or realize the story behind the photo, then it will be my success as an o photographer . Please sir reply 🙏🏻 I have doudts about it

It will be a street picture and street photography but it will not compel people or viewers... The idea is to create sp pictures with your voice which can reach the viewers... and generate emotions in them or else its a flat image which anyone can do... You as a photographer have to give your inputs too... Otherwise sp pictures can be done by anyone or everyone... Just go out and start pressing the shutter and you will get street picture and candid pictures but they will all be not your pictures they will be just random images ... Which according to me will be total waste and shit

In street photography mostly candid moments of people are captured in public place. Is this genre of photography legal in India? Moreover, what to do if someone finds of out clicking their pictures without their consent and is not okay with that?
