22 is the official no of languages. We have 1,600+ spoken dialects. Some languages don't have a written script, and some uses Roman script. The same language spoken in different parts of the same state might not be that much understandable to people from other parts of the state. Same is the case with food, it'll differ 200-300 kms as you travel. Different in each state. The terrain also dictates a lot, from the hottest to the coldest, from dry desert to the wettest place on earth, highest mountains to the sea level and the jungles like Savana and rain forests. You'll get everything here. Remember, most of our states are larger than many smaller countries in the Europe. Our larger states are as big as Germany.

I visited in January 2018 for 10 days 5 years ago It was nice to see the friendly look and nice to see the place as it is.
