Love your cooking vids with Mama Lai. Great idea to preserve her recipes to pass down to family! Your jade pendant is so pretty- you don’t see that beautiful color too much these days. I wear the jade heart that my mom left me and that she brought over from Toishan over 60 years ago.

I cook like my mom because I loved cooking as a kid and loved to help her. My close guy pals are mommas boyz & all can cook. My Korean pal won’t teach us his mom’s won bok, kimchee recipe. Even the pepper is family grown in ROK. My pals wash dishes too & clean up after pot luck/poker! 😎🥰
