Northern people from Thailand are possibly the most polite and calm compared to other Thai regions. Their demeanor simply radiates coziness because of how soft and well spoken they are (Though their dialect could be hard to understand, even among themeselves)

I wish people would be that respectful of the US when they visit here, for people who always tell us that we are rude and obnoxious when we're overseas they're nothing but disrespectful when they visit my country. At least that's the case for West Europeans and Chinese

@@kidfox3971 that's the thing though, the stereotypical tourist can be from any place, visiting anywhere, and unfortately there will always be some. I remember the first time I tried American candy. I still remember how sweet it was. I'm from poland and 99% of the time I eat "sweets" it's fruits that someone buys me, the other 1% is when I'm gifted chocolate, icecream or when my grandmother bakes a pie. Poland and USA (probably) have similiar sweets of course, but it still suprised me.

I don't like the term 'tribe'. He makes it sound as if he is some kind of Ernest Hemingway celebrating the 'purity' of the tribal/primitive. It's like when white people visit impoverished countries and come back with stories of how 'pure and innocent' they are. It is well intended but it always makes me feel a bit uneasy.

I hope Sonny tried the North Thai special jungle curry without use of curry, it is a yummy peanut sauce that is unique and so very delicious, usually missed on the menu in most Thai restaurant's. Hope any whom give it a try do it normal and then spicy, two different delicious worlds all in one dish doing that.

Possibly the best thing about this channel is seeing different cultures and actually talking to the people. Most content about other cultures, we talk about them instead of to them. This is so much better.

I love how they are feeding these people Skittles like right after they are declared "UNFIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION" 😂😂😂😂
@KainYusanagi
@KainYusanagi Жыл бұрын
No, some dumbass is pursuing a lawsuit against them, claiming that because they use titanium dioxide at all they are unfit, but the percentage used of titanium dioxide as colourant is within the FDA limitations, that is, below 1% of the food product, and no doubt European-sold Skittles will have it removed by the time the ban goes into effect. It just seems like someone screaming for attention.

Each continent is worlds apart but yet so similar in cultures, tribes and norms. It's so fascinating. In south africa we have the Ndebele tribe were women wear the exact same neck elongating gold pieces, starting from childhood. What's even more interesting are same colors choices in the clothing they wear, even though patterns may differ. Great show Sonny 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼love from South Africa 🇿🇦❤️🎉
