You know, I actually envy them. Yes, they have less tech, but their lives are more fulfilling. They know the fruit of their labor because it’s made with their own two hands. They know their neighbors because they work together and see each other often. Overall, they seem much happier where they’re at despite having less, than us in more developed countries despite having more amenities.

One of my favorites, since childhood. Which seems like it was a million years ago! 😂 My parents would give me $1 a week for doing extra chores. (we didn’t get paid for the chores that were naturally our responsibility…so no allowance). Anyway, I’d go across the street to the local mom & pop store and get 100 pieces of penny candy. (Now you know how old I really am 😂). I’d take it to school and sell it for two pennies each piece. But I’d only sell 50 pieces. So I was basically getting to eat 50 pieces of candy each week at zero cost to me. 😅😊 If I bought fireballs I could 5¢ each for them!!! Anyway…it ended up not mattering in the long run as the school made me shut my little candy enterprise down. 😂😂

@@melissadunton3534 Melissa, honestly, thanks a lot for this wonderful comment ! 😁😋 ... you probably can't imagine the lovely nostalgic journey your comment did send me on, and, as i'm still enjoying this tripping through long forgotten childhood memories while reading one touching article after the other since more then an hour atm, not planning to stop, i thought i'd better answer you right now to make sure you get the well deserved appreciation from me that i wanted to show you since you made me start my google tripping .😊 No, i don't know about your age, as i didn't even know the term "penny candy" before your comment, also what a "Mom &Pops" is/ means was part of my google research you inspired me to do --- > i'm german, and you, Melissa, just made me learn multiple lovely terms in a single comment. Vielen vielen Dank dafür ! 😁 ...i still haven't figured out your age during history research on penny candy, i learned Mr . Woolworth came up with that idea in 1897, and never ever you're way over 100 years old. Born in '76 i'm an 80s kid, 47years, will never grow up, and my name is Michael. You made my day, please enjoy yours as well 😘

The first thing people think is how cool it is to see non-tech people eating candy. But somehow it's sad and cheeky of them. They have money and go where people don't want sweets, but real things that you need to live like food and clothing or care. They give candy, look at the camera and laugh, but they don't know how people feel. They're basically making fun of them and making money off of it that's filth!! They make thousands of dollars and all these people get is some cheap candy. Very unfriendly and unfair!! Imagine they live poor and a man comes into their home and gives them candy, but they want to eat, clothes and care or have medicine for illnesses and then the man never comes back and makes money with the videos he makes where they are can be seen and they only get sweets. This is not justice! But exploitation.😢😠 God bless these people in the tribes

I moved to the US from Korea as a gradeschooler and I couldnt stand the junk food in the beginning. Ice cream and candies were sickeningly sweet. Pizza was absolutely disgusting. The greasy, barnyard cheese was nauseating. Even now, im not the biggest fan of cake icing and overly sweet desserts

Wooooow.... the difference between the city and this part of the country is crazy 😶, I am ethiopian and I live in the capital city , I have a very different life from there's and when I heard the first tribe talk I couldn't understand cuz it was not the main language amaharic but the last tribes language is the one I speak, most of my aunts and uncles live in America, on both my moms and dads side , we buy stuff from America through face time , and they send us all kinds of candy, the only one I didn't taste in this vid is the sour patch kids one,..... and yeah I am from Ethiopia 😅
