The team follows Klinnsmanns shitty tactics for the first half, then when they’re inevitably 1 or 2 goals down because of the bad tactics, and instead just play football how they want to play they equalize or even win, 2 Premier league strikers a PSG winger, a Bayern defender, a Danish league top scorer, a Bundesliga CM and that’s just the star players all on one team shouldn’t be performing as badly as they have been and it’s Klinnsmanns bad tactics, bad communication with the squad, and appears to not even care about winning or losing,

You underestimate Saudi Arabia as if they are a second-class team because they do not have big names like other teams, despite the fact that historically and until now, Saudi Arabia has consistently outperformed teams such as Japan and Australia in the World Cup qualifiers and continental championships, and it is the team that has played the most Asian Cup finals, equal to Korea. It is the second team with the most wins in the tournament, one behind Japan
@s--cn8ee9 ай бұрын
The Saudi national team or even Saudi clubs do not play continental championships with the belief that “they have a chance to win it all.” No, winning is the expectation even in the driest periods in Saudi football. Al Hilal, for example, is the equivalent of Real Madrid in Asia, where it is expected from the club. Every year, by winning the championship or reaching the final, then you have clubs like Al-Ittihad and Al-Nasr who are also giants in the championship, and ,this was the case even before the recent spending spree on international stars.

I will admit Qatar definitely does seem like a generally good Asian team in terms of footballing quality but for me personally Japan has always been the top Asian team. So Japan for me is usually the favourite for Asian competitions but Iran and all those other teams can definitely give Japan a hard time. Australia is always disappointing for me as an Australian like they never really seem to try as hard as they can. Like only one Asian Cup win and One club has ever won the Asian Champions League in Australia and it's like our quality is never good enough to challenge the top Asian teams. We do need to start thinking about youth development and developing players that aren't goalkeepers. Matt Ryan and Mark Schwarzer were both our best players for their respective eras. We need a forward and a good midfielder, someone needs to step up and be the new Tim Cahill and the new Harry Kewell and we also need to get some defenders, the defenders have always been Australia's weak spot.
