as a Malaysian, I'm pretty confident with our chances. great to see Maqwell predicting we finish second too, and I think that's realistic provided we minimise injuries and play like we did these past few months. also the support of around 2,000 of our Ultras Malaya that are already there in Qatar should be a morale booster. Correction at 12:35. His current team FC Midtjylland is leading the Danish League but is by no means champions yet. They started poorly and had a big disappointment in not getting into Europe after failing to beat Legia but has seen turned it around by stringing multiple wins together and Gue-Sung Cho has definitely been a big part of it. A lot of people sleep on Tajikistan and Malaysia. This is the first prediction I've seen that doesn't just rely on ranking or historical data. But purely based recent matches and current team form. I would put Tajikistan at 2nd too above China. It's hard to predict Malaysia. While their attacking prowess is deadly, their defensive capability is still questionable. 2nd place is possible but I would put them at 3rd now. The rest of the group are spot on.

@@sharxM16 It's not about luck whatsoever, they have good tactical game, it's very fun to watch. We saw it again against China yesterday. Unfortunately, poor execution to score a goal. Yes, they play very defensively against Malaysia in that tournament, but that's the whole point of counterattacking. Malaysia makes a lot of silly mistakes when defending. Why not abuse that? I would say Tajikistan has an okay run in 2023, even though they don't win a lot of matches. They still put up a good fight.

Indonesia (my country) has to beat Vietnam and drew with Iraq so that we have an opportunity to finish as one of the best 3rd place teams, as the official FA said. As a Korean, it is very hard pill to swallow when Japan is mentioned as the "best in Asia" type argument. And the frustration grows as Japan has become a real threat to be called "the best in Asia". recently Son's father has spoken to the public in an interview how he doesn't want Korea to win this tournament. His cynical statement was made with some comparison with JFA because of the KFA and the administration works in Korea is riddled with incompetence and corruption, yet Korea was to win this tournament, it will veil the Korean people from the real problem and just keep going with a broken system of youth development to drafts in K-league, etc. We got the stars, but if we don't fix what we got, we won't see anymore stars from Korea. Japan's 50 Year plan has come to some fruition and it may evolve for the better. We need to adopt a model and be adept to evolve. Great example has been set. Hopefully, with Korean work ethic and mentality they better show some grit to win this tournament and work to fix that garbage FA.

Me who supports Malaysian football all my life, think that prediction is a little too high, although i appreciate the compliment on our form though, kpg has done wonders for our entire squad so far, for realism, and realistic approach, we aim to successfully get 3rd place finish and qualify as best 3rd place finisher.
