The last 2019 facelift made the Elantra look kind of sad in the front, as if Hyundai didn't even care if it sold or not. It looks like they threw a team of great designers at this one since it looks amazing, especially the interior. I love that bluish-gray one with the two models next to it.

Can’t get over how nice that interior looks, they did an amazing job on this and the new sonata. Only thing I wish were different is the steering wheel design which I think doesn’t match the rest of the interior. I’d prefer a sportier three spoke design but oh well.

It’s amazing what one small detail can do. In NA, the orange reflector is mandatory on the front headlight. In Europe in Asia this is not the case. Having that reflector removed makes a world of difference. The car looks so much better with an all-white headlamp.

Charlie, thank you for the presentation. The side character lines are like a Z and the middle line is not that pronounced. It seems to work and probably works better in person than in photos or videos. I wish car designers would make the cars higher up so that taller people would have more headroom. But it seems adequate for you. Overall, this is a nice design and an improvement over the previous model. The interior's lights look calming and illuminate the interior well. It has the shiny info system that other Hyundais have but at least they try to integrate it and it doesn't look added on. This is an important car for the US market and I think Hyundai will sell them.

Will there be a GT N-Line version of the Elantra in hatchback version and with panoramic sunroof? If not then I doubt that I would buy a new 2021 or 2022 Hyundai Elantra here in the U.S. I’m also disappointed that the automatic transmission in the Elantra is still a cumbersome traditional gear lever that clutters takes up unnecessary space. I was hoping for push-button gear shifts like in the Sonata or perhaps a rotary dial or toggle switch like in the eight generation VW Golf. But otherwise , it’s a good looking car with many modern conveniences.

That blue and red are going to be tough to decide over when purchasing this. I'm hoping the N-Line won't have a IVT... i definitely don't want any reference of the CVT anywhere near this car for consumers. I don't see that powertrain going well here in the US, hopefully it will be different here...HOPING!!! Overall i truly think they handled the design incredibly better than the last Elantra lineup. The Sonata alongside this will definitely bring people in when driving past these two beauties at the dealerships. Good job Hyundai. In isolation, the front end looks good, but in my opinion the hood and most especially the front edge where the Hyundai badge resides drops off too fast, making it look weaker. This is most apparent looking at the car in profile. But otherwise I like the design.
