The basic premise that China is leading in many parts of AI development is correct but there is just too much happy talk to really take this seriously.

He was born in Taiwan, grew up and educated in America. Microsoft, Googles, and Apple gave him jobs and he acquired the technologies from these top US IT companies. And what did he do? Building this leading Technology for the communist China. I know hw would say he is JUST an innovator and investor in China. But he should know how dangerous it is for communist government to have control of this type of technology. And the worst part of it is, he always knows it. The only reason he is doing it in China is because he knows, there’s no regulations in China to limit his research like in the US. There are 10 billions people in China for him to develop this technology. The Chinese government will let him have unlimited resources for this research because it is too important for China. Therefore, no Matt what he say, communist China government is behind his company. Anyone believe it otherwise is a fool. In my opinion, he betrayed America. The country that gave him every opportunity to become who he is today.
