Great video, and that is indeed one hell of a good looking body. I like the lexan windows, should make it a bit easier to paint up those glued edges for more extra bonus scale points and scorings. Looking forward to seeing it put together!

Thanks sir! Lots of great detail to be had, and there's a ton of options for customizing. Going to be an epic build for sure!

Just look at all the options parts that have come about for this body. I finally got my hands on this body and a Trail Finder 2 LWB about 2 years ago. lol I ordered it from AsiaTees in 2020, then this year, Amain Hobbies started carrying the Killerbody brand.

Thanks mrguy for the review I'm getting mine directly from Killer Body I was hoping it would be a little bigger than the TF2 body a lot of were hoping but it looks sensational. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍

Thanks for watching! I was hoping it was going to be bigger, but you know what, pretty close is still pretty good.

The first thing I saw in the background was that 60 series landcruiser body
@scalebuildersguild8 жыл бұрын
Heh, glad you noticed. A scratch-built body with full, accurate interior as well.

I noticed it because I'm interested in making my own plus I am completely obsessed with 60s

Hi there, very nice videos on scaled models, I have just purchased scx10ii trail honcho and lc70 killerbody, was looking at instructional videos on how to do the cantilever shocks conversion (and parts needed) and the flip of the transmission (heard people also need to do this to fit the body on the frame in a scaled way), would you have time to do a how to video on them? I went with LC70 because I want to maximize the scaled look and I also love the scx10ii frame, this is my first time modding RCs so looking for some help there, thanks soo much for this video and it would be great if you can make a detailed conversion instruction on it. Have a nice one!

Sorry, don't have this body any longer. I mounted it on a TF2 which was a near perfect fit.

What I was most exited about was seeing this truck with some known tires in the wells. Especially since the scale was a bit small. Can you post some photos of that on the forum or on facebook?

I haven't, because one of our fine members, H2Micr0 already did! Here's the link: scalebuildersguild.com/forum/showthread.php?25178-Land-Cruiser-79-Hard-Body-by-Trailworx-Garage

Yep, which is why it's too small. The Tamiya Hilux is 1/9th.

You would have to adjust the wheelbase I believe. Track width is going to be massive and might look strange.

There's the Tamiya F350, and I've seen a bunch of New Bright Raptors. Both are pretty easy to find with a google search.

How well do you think this would work on a Tamiya CR01 chassis?
@scalebuildersguild8 жыл бұрын
Scuba Steve Hard to say. What's the wheelbase of the CR01? If it's drastically different, the wheelwell mismatch might look odd.
@scubasteve74508 жыл бұрын
Scale Builder's Guild ah no worries, I thought you may have had some first hand experience or known someone who may have. Wheelbase measures 11.34" (288mm)
