I heard the T series miners were a headache I avoided looking at them all together

great video and demonstration of how to install custom firmware to the miner... I have a question if you could help that is a bit off topic! I have multiple asics that i want to connect all to 1 computer, do i need to purchase a ethernet switch say 8 way because i have 8 miners, if this is correct would i then plug in to the main router then i connect router to the switch and connect the miners to the switch from the switch to my p.c? any help would be great i am strugglling to get online......

I will try it soon we downloaded the wrong firmware for s19 pro and s19 🤣🤣😭😭😭 and the machine is not connected to the sever and the light red in the machine 🌝💔

You can flash from a sd card if the miner isn't responding.

I’m of need of support regarding antminer S9 I connect it and it only gets about 3 th then disconnects for no reason. I bought 4 antminer pretty much same result using slushpool. I would prefer hive os because all my gpus are on that but the flashing the os seems a bit much for me right now being noob and all 🤣 thanks !

I had the same problem with my Z11's. I have 2 of them and they would start mining and shutdown after 3-7 seconds of mining. If you just connect 1 s9 with no others turned on will it mine? If I had both mine on only 1 would work. It was something with the network but I never figured it out before profitability went down and I turned them off. They didn't have hive on them but my L3s did. They did work great with Hive. I didn't use the hive interface to manage them and just used the IP address to access them. Try 1 miner at a time with no others running and see if it will connect for anything longer than a couple seconds. Try each one, one at a time.

@@euclidmining I have 1 hashing on slushpool . Been hashing at around 5 to 7 th won’t go any higher . I ordered a 220 pdu to see if that will help . It’s something to do . I realize it’s non profitable but learning experience is worth something I suppose . Thanks for responding ,, good looking out !

@@strokerace563 With the low hashrate, when you bring up the miner page are all boards hashing? Is 1 low and the other 2 hashing fully? Each board should be hashing at 4.5th. I am firing up my discord server to help with things like this but am still new to creating a discord server and want to make sure all channels are locked down to spammers and garbage.

@@euclidmining I have a couple discord servers myself and I’m not the best with those either . Its getting pretty late I’ll check out the hash boards and let you know tomorrow . I need to find that data it in miner stats I’m sure . I thought I seen it running on 73 chips earlier . But it keeps idling down then back up . Deciding if I should turn it off for the night .

HI, I'm trying to do the same thing you do in the video, but the lights are always on! What could I be doing wrong or what could I be missing? Could it be the firmware she has installed?

When you use the SD card it takes priority over anything loading on the asic so whatever she has installed on it shouldn't matter. I hate to say it but I would start over fresh one more time. Format the SD card fat32, put the S9 unlock firmware on the SD card. Have the miner powered off insert the SD card and then power it on. Tell me what happens.

Are you trying to update the firmware? Is there a specific one you are looking for or do you just want something better than the factory set firmware?
