Yes you could definitely wear them for doing a lot of walking as well as, or instead of just for running

It should be a good choice, there is a good amount of heel cushioning. You could also look at the Gel-Nimbus 26 which has more cushioning than the Cumulus.

The heel couter is too high in the Achilles region ...will skin my Achilles ...New Balance fix that in the new 1080 and 880 , but Asics is going to the wrong side with the new models...wait...making justice , the best asics heel counter in the Achilles area is the new Pulse 15...is low and plush , like the old asics models like Nimbus 23 , Cumulus 23.

It may be worth trying socks with a heel tab, if you haven’t already. That tends to prevent rubbing in that heel area, if you experience it. Thanks for watching!

Totally with you there. I had the gel cumulus forever and starting with the 25 the heel rubs und really grinds my achilles region. It's a really bad issue. Pity as I really like the shoe.

"They are pretty well priced too. You are not going to find a better shoe for less than that". WHAT??? 😂. Actually, you have a bunch. Starting with the Novablast 4. They made a mistake putting that price. It should be actually 20€/$ less. For what Novablast 4 offers you Cumulus has no space in the market because the NB excels you in everything the Cumulus wants to do.

The Novablast 4 is a max cushion shoe with a higher stack height and a little more weight to it, whereas the Cumulus 26 is a medium cushioned shoe, so they have something different to offer, at the same price point.

​I will absolutely second that. I have been running very recently in NB4 and Cumulus 25. Yes, the NB4 allows me to bound along better than the Cumulus but my knees are not so fond of the higher stack height. Respectfully, it's a mistake to assume ​that just because a trainer is more cushioned and makes you run faster doesn't necessarily make it best option for your bio-mechanics! Ps. The Cumulus 25 also has better grip! @@trailandkale
