Hey mate, how would you say the stability compares to the adios pro 2? I ran my marathon PB in the sky but think I’d get in better with the edge now. Good review

The EDGE+ is more stable than the Adios Pro 2. I tried both recently and the ASICS felt less wobbly, maybe because there is less cutaway from the foam.

@@pacemaxpro thanks man. I weirdly find the adios pro 2 really stable lol. I tend to slightly pronate in on my left side and I have tibial pain that comes and goes on harder efforts and they have seemed to help. Think I’ll defo get the pro 3 and the edge plus though, stats on the edge look awesome.

Best review I've seen of the Edge Plus. They are probably a bit too pricey for me so I'll stick with the Magic Speed. Hopefully you might do a review of the Magic Speed 2 when they are available? Keep up the good work!

Thank you! I'm testing the SKY+ at the moment; I think ASICS has the best grip of all the super shoes right now! If and when I get my hands on the magic speed 2 (first iteration are awesome shoes btw!) I'll make sure I'll get the review up asap 🙏

New plate location and form, is similar in ride the Edge+ to Sky v1? I love Metaspeed Sky v1. Usually I compete with Next%. I'm a cadence runner, in long distance about 200 steps in a minute.

Oh, wow, you should defo get the EDGE+ if your cadence is that high. The new EDGE+ has the same max stack height as the SKY V1 (39 MM) but it has a higher drop (8 mm compared to the SKY V1's 5 mm). The EDGE+ is also ever so slightly heavier than the SKY+

@@pacemaxpro is exactly the same stats more or less as Vaporfly Next%. I think that if the tact and density of FFBLAST TURBO in Edge+ is similar than in the Sky v1 I really enjoy to run with this. Certainly Next% is a secure value but perhaps Edge+ is snappy and bouncier for my running style. "THE ROAD RUNNER“ of cartoons😂😂😂😉

So @2:40 -- I think you have that backwards? I am looking at the Asics site and it says cadence-runners "increase speed by increasing the number of strides" and stride-runners "increase speed by lengthening their strides". But you're saying cadence-runners "take bigger steps" and stride-runners "take more steps"?

You're right, I got a bit confused there! I cut out a big chunk of the video where I tried to work it out but I clearly got even more confused as I went along. The EDGE+ is for Cadence-style runners who change cadence easier as they run faster. But it also doesn't matter too much unless you're really fast. 🙌

Is the length and size the same as the first version?

The EDGE+ seems ever so slightly longer. The size is the same, although I found the Edge v1 a tighter than the EDGE+ (maybe it's the extra length that makes the new version more comfortable). I'd say they are both true to size but the fit is tighter than your average daily trainer. If you're concerned, go half size up, that should still fit well but allow for a bit more room in the toebox.

Okay advice for anyone who has either a low cadence, or does not run faster than 8.00 min/per mile, do not buy these. My first run saw my cadence over 190 SPM, HRZ3 & I ran over 1 min faster per mile. These shoes are crazy fast, so be-warned.

They are pretty fast, aren't they? The METASPEED series should be used for racing only, when you want to push your limits, and for that the shoes are excellent, as you've experienced 🙌
