I’ve skated the gel Vikka (in the blue/silver color way) twice now and they fit true to size for me (11) and have some of the best board feel and flick I’ve ever felt, while still feeling comfy and protective. And that’s without replacing the insoles. I’m very impressed and will be getting another pair for sure.

They’re so good. Thinner than the Japan pro but I feel like I’ve skated better in the air max ishod than anything else

Your videos have been helpful. I love Asics for a while now due to my wider feet, I'm about to begin skating and was curious if the Japan Pros or the Japan S are good? At least for beginners?

I think the Japan pro is the specific skateboarding Japan. So I’d go that route

I dont think asics makes a true vulcanized shoe. theyre all cupsole the vickka is just so thin. the Aaron pro looks like a vulc but it's a fake vulc sole. im with you though. the Japan just has more protection for my old feet! haha

They are both nice but find the upper a little too thin on the vickka. japan pro is the best sole ive skated in 20 years

the orange is cool, i have the cream one still its pretty dirty now but i love it. do u notice a difference in impact/is there less soreness the next day in the pro vs the vickka? the pros are better so far cushioning wise compared to other shoes ive tried so far but i'd try the vickka if it has around the same level of cushion

In the Japan you could probably do a 9. In the vickka maybe stick to a 9.5 IMO

With every sneaker brand (the majors) having a skate division... Reebok better get at it again. We (yes we all of us thet actually skate) have seen a kid/guy or two pushing and actually putting work in the Club C. There is now a Club c Bulc which would fit as an early 2000s styled skate offering, and if Im not mistaken they did skating in the early mid 2000s. It failed... but the world wasnt really considering skate stuff fashionable. I feel today is a much different world.

@@DavidBluetile wild, cause those hit sale and didn't sell out like the Beams collab I waited on. I do eventually want to add a dime sneaker to my arsenal as they have had some good ones. And you know I went half size down as I usually do. (I typically go true to size in Club c, but the bulky boys for my foot are roomier)
