Having all three of the supertrainers, here are my insights: SB2 = Light, fast, agile, ideal for uptempo/faster paces, outsole is great Glycerin Max = HIghest stack, the glideroll tech really is expressive and it is best used for longer easy runs, outsole is like a tank Balos = Impressive fresh foam, versatile as it can do both easy and uptempo, outsole needs some revision on v2 Overall all excellent shoes, Sb2 for race, balos for uptempo and glycerin max for easy/recovery runs Thanks for the video :)

Great review! I have several pairs of the Balos which I use for easy days when I don't want a carbon trainer. I'm going to buy SB2 when they are available as I have heard such great things about it!

interesting usage of the balos lol i only use it for long runs with strides, trying to go easy in them feels bit awkward wondering why not buy 1080v14 for easy runs instead of another balos?

@io-rj6sk I used to run in the 1080s, however I find the Balos has more spring to it! I use the NB SuperComp Trainers for my longs runs and speed sessions as I find the carbon plate really helps me push that much more! That being said, I have ran some fast paces with the Balos and they hold up great!

I just completed 370 miles in SB 1 and currently enjoying SB2. Will try Glycerin Max as soon as my size becomes available. SB1/2 is currently my favorite shoe. It’s very versatile. I can run at my super slow pace (8 mins/km) and my faster paces with no issues.

SB2s do take a while to break in. I have about 60 miles in my oldest pair and the are still getting better.

The balos has 42 mil in the heel and 36 in the forefoot. Wouldn't say its low stack

SB don't come in size 14 unfortunately. Love the balos because they are lighter and really like the Glycerin max! I am 6'5 230 Also Love the Puma magmax most if you can find them!

I’m only missing the glycerin max and that’s only cause they don’t seem to be available where I live. I’ll pick them up for sure though along with the adios pro 4 when they drop and possibly the cielo x1 The balos is my favorite as I find it to be more forgiving and I could definitely pickup the pace in them too don’t know why everyone needs the firmest midsole to go faster. The superblast 2 definitely don’t feel close to the ground, they are incredibly light considering the midsole. I have yet to break them in, apparently according to most they need to be broken in, I got a little pain around the front inner heel in the beginning that seems to be going away the more I use them. Don’t know what caused it or if I’m getting used to it

How is the width on the Superblast? My foot runs a little wide. I can fit in the Glycerin Max with no problems.

I have wide feet and both the Glycerin Max and SB2. The SB2 fits me just fine and I didn't have to size up or anything.

SB2 fits me TTS and is on par with my other shoes for length and toe box room.

I have the Superblast 1 and it is super versatile because of the light weight and cushioning. I do find it a little uninspiring though because it lacks the bounce of the Neo Vista or Puma's Nitro foam. I could justify the price of the Superblast or the Glycerin Max (and the MagMax) because I think they will be good in dollars per mile. I don't see the Balos having that durability.
