I met Tom when he was at the Apprenticeship School in Newport News, VA before VA Tech. You could tell he was lost and thinking is this the best I can do from all my wrestling experience and a Gold medal? I actually felt sorry for the guy but I'm happy he's doing well now. A lot of wrestlers can't transition into paid wrestling jobs after leaving the sport.

Revisiting all these old Brands interviews is nutty viewed through the lense of the recruitment of AJ Ferrari.

It looks like they just didn't put in the center strip of that particular mat. The space they were in may not have been big enough for it.

oh god....why the annoyingly loud background music ? who the hell produced this ? the whole point is to hear tom and you totally ruined it. shame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree!! I shut this thing down at 1.24 min. (I would have liked to hear what Tom had to say!!!)

The only reason you two say that is because you two are old but my young ears can hear everything perfectly. The music is supposed to make the video more "intense" but if you can't hear the talking try using headphones it's this new piece of technology that came around the last decade or two.

I clicked on this for the music. I heard some guy mumbling about wrestling a hog farmer. But the music soon drowned him out, thank God.
