My thoughts on the whole situation: Tim was my idol. The only one I had. Metal as hell. Strong beliefs. Took care of his body. Hell, he even adopted kids in need!!! I wanted to be just like him. When I heard what happened, I was literally in shock. I had just seen them in San Antonio 2 weeks before the arrest. He was super nice. But man, I was hurt as a fan. But seeing his band trust him, accept him, and make music with him is amazing. True forgiveness. Love y’all. Love this. Welcome back, Tim. Great fucking song, by the way.

@wipe0utpuls36 жыл бұрын
@@julyjohnson494 Yeah..Nick is very underrated. He does a lot of video work too. Speaking of bands in which all members are beasts, check out Periphery. Bassist is an audio engineer prodigy, better than the guitarists in the band lol. One of them is a genius composer, the other is an amazing lead player, the other is a killer riff-writer. Vocalist has a ranger higher than most girls, killer screams, drummer is a machine.

I have no words. What is happening to my favorite band?!! Reliving this video and comment section is so tragically nostalgic now, because it honestly seems like the end. Especially with them taking SBF off of all music platforms and the uncertainty that the new album will even drop! I will never forget the indescribable excitement I had seeing the tease of the return, this video dropping, and then the amount of hype for the new album. My guys were back in full swing pressing on, despite all the naysayers. Then even with the guys leaving in 2022 it was sad. But I felt with the new lineup they were reborn into a new era of AILD that had so much potential. It sucks that only 6 years later, I gotta accept the fact that the band I loved so dearly. Is most likely finished. I honestly feel like crying staring at the Shaped By Fire flag on my wall rn..

I was blasting this song one night about 5 years ago shortly after midnight with some buddies in a nearly empty Walmart parking lot when a cop pulled up to us and demanded to know what the Hell we were doing playing music this loud at such a time and to turn it down. Before we could even respond however, he recognized what we were playing and wanted us to turn it back up again 😂It turns out he was a huge metalhead who loved Lamb of God and Erra and he actually sat there next to us listening to a few more of AILD's songs before he waved to us and took off. It remains the best experience I've ever with a cop to this day.

Having just turned 50 I ve had many horrible experiences with cops especially in my 20s , but probably 1990-91 , me and my friends all met up at the big grocery store, we were leaving for The Dead’s summer east coast tour, I’m a metal head and a dead head, but the cops were always watching us , and by this time have arrested me and my friend’s many times , but they pulled in to see what we were up to , they let us take all kinds of crazy pictures with them and the police cars , they wished us safe travels for the next couple weeks. I still live in and run a business in the town still see one of those cops , and he’s saved my ass one time in the 2000s .
