I don't think that time necessarily is a factor in love. You could get to know a person extremely well after a month of spending a mass amount of time with them. There shouldn't be that stigma of saying it 'too early', especially with the person you are with. I think there's something wrong if you're scared of telling the person you are with that you love them.

I never say "I love you" unless I mean it. I won't tell someone that I love them if I really don't. If someone I know has read or heard me say "i love you.", it's probably to a family member or my best friend. If someone says "i love you" to me, (like a friend) than i'd probably say 'love ya' 'love you' 'i love ya' 'ily' but never the full I LOVE YOU.

Someone not saying they love you isn't necessarily someone uncertain about their feelings for you; They could be scared to say it because they're not sure of your feelings. I admit. I never said it first. Every time I only said it because the person kept asking me "do you love me? do you love me?" and what was I supposed to say? Sure, I cared for the person, but for me love has a much deeper meaning. It never felt like the right time. Even though I would come to love the person, that happened some time after I said it the first time. The earliest I've said it was one week BEFORE we were actually in a relationship lol, and we'd only been talking for two weeks. He said it first, I said it back. So i had such a deep and strong crush for him i told him i loved him and he was like woah we aren't even dating but thanks, we did stay friends and that "love" feeling never went away but we started dating a couple of years later and he ended up telling me he loved me and i said it back because that feeling never went away but I'm glad we ended up together lmao also i tried to save myself by sayig my friend typed it to him while i wasn't looking lmao

It was 10 days after we got together. I had felt it for days so strongly but I kept telling myself "It's too soon! This is crazy!" but I no matter how much I thought that I couldn't deny it. Whenever I said I liked her it felt like it wasn't enough anymore. I loved her. I felt like every time I said anything it was all I wanted to say so I finally told her. Hmm. The first time I said "I love you" to my current boyfriend was like 5,5 months into our relationship (even though I knew "This is it" after like 2-3 weeks, I was afraid to scare him off). We were texting about something, and I said I loved him in a roundabout way, like "I hope you don't feel unloved, because that is definitely not the case", and he responded with "I love you too". Happiest day ever! 8 years and 3 months we've been together and still going strong.

My boyfriend and I met online, and from the first day we met in person, I knew there was something really special between us. After two weeks of spending almost every day together (and we lived 3 hours apart, mind you), I was staying at his place, and he accidentally slipped it out, "see this is why I love you!"... And we both just gasped. I didn't say it back, because I knew it was a slip up, but the very next morning, as we were waking up to go to a rennaisance faire, I turned to him and told him I loved him too. We've been together 6 months now, but it seems like years. I think he's definitely "the one". :)

He lives in my hometown,yet I moved 1500 miles away to Florida so we didn't make it official for a while. I went back home for winter break for a bit,and he came down to Florida for a few weeks. I honestly just don't get how big of a deal this gets turned into xd. I'm in my very first relationship right now as a 19 year old. We said I love you to each other the day we got into an official relationship, knowing each other for 2,5 weeks. Why is it that big of a deal for so many people?! I seriously knew this guy for not even a month and we knew we wanted to grow together and be together. I love him. Why wait to tell him?!
