@Sahara Coleman if you put deodorant between your thighs when wearing shorts then it prevents chub rub! i also recommend just carrying the deodorant around when you’re out if you ever need to reapply. hope that helps

I agree. There will always be someone who is thinner then you. For Exemple: I Dance Ballett and ich have BIG thighs. Not Just Muscles but also fat. So No thigh Gap for me of course. I personally would adore my legs being Like yours because they are Just perfect and Mine are probably bigger. So you See? No Matter the size, the insecurities are the Same.

@@chandra_aditi I'm going to be your enabling friend and say "doooo iiiiit!" haha But seriously, it was the best decision I ever made in terms of how I feel about my body. idk if you have any tattooed friends so I wanted to share some advice if that's okay 🖤 Since you have dark skin, definitely go to a reputable tattooer who has dark skin tattoos in their portfolio. If you ever talk to a tattooer who says your skin color can't be tattooed, then walk the f- away. Dark skin can absolutely be tattooed, some white tattooers refuse to learn and remain willfully ignorant (and totally racist 🙃). I also recommend finding a tattooer who's a woman or non-binary, I've found that the experience has been more comfortable for me (I'm a femme queer). Anyways, sorry for the long message 😅 I really love tattoos and if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them! I just want everyone to feel empowered to decorate their bodies however they'd like 🖤

In high school a boy told me that I shouldn’t wear tights because they were for girls with thin dainty legs not legs like mine. I feel your insecurities but I maintain a “oh well” mentality oh well I like them so who cares!

I know someone who used to be insecure about knee stretch marks. She grew a lot taller in one summer, and that caused them. It's odd how people get them in all kinds of different places. I have put CC cream over scars I've had from various mishaps over the years, but eventually I gave up. Once you're an adult, no one cares. We were all teenagers once and no point in commenting on issues of the past anymore. Although I was bullied for not shaving, or not shaving high enough, and it's been really freeing to stop that as well. Reclaiming my legs for myself and my partner, not for society's silly standards.

A life hack when youre self conciouss about your body in public: try not to look at other people and their possible reactions, focus on what youre doing. ( Obviosly be conciouss of your surroundings to a degree so that you stay safe )

Its also okay if you find it hard to look at your legs, sometimes it can be difficult to unlearn the negative thoughtpatterns surrounding our bodies or bodyhair but i think that by showing more your hairy legs, your brain can start to normalize them in time. Chance is a process and you taking the first step is already huge.❤

I ended up getting a tattoo on my thigh because I was so self conscious and I hated my legs for the longest time. Its something that makes me smile now whenever I see my legs and its a little reminder that I should be able to feel good in my own body.

UGHHH!!!! You have no idea how important this video is. I HATED my legs growing up. I hated all of my body to be honest. I used to feel so self conscious that people were talking about my body in an outfit and then It clicked for me. I have NEVER been in public, looked at someones outfit and thought “it would be cute if they were skinny” A cute fit is a cute fit The past 5 years I’ve worked on that so much that now I don’t have Pinterest boards of outfits I’ll wear “when I’m skinny” They are just outfit inspo. I love this so much. I used to hate my legs and thighs and then I got a giant Phoenix tattoo down my right leg. It's given me so much confidence. This last year I started wearing bikinis too because I don't want my daughter growing up with the household fat phobia I had to deal with.
