Well to be fair, everyone. I'm a heavy drinker myself. And one thing I noticed is that. If you drink A LOT of beer, you will fart. I bet soul you will. And not just once. Multiple times. For those who have never been drunk before, not everyone reacts to alcohol the same way. There are a lot of variants that can affect the behaviour. From your body size, to what's in your system already, your gender, your tolerance, the amount or speed of your intake, your mood prior, the type of alcohol you're drinking, etc. Once you've experimented in safe environments and found your limits and winning combinations in varience, you can more or less have better control of your drinking and not have to worry about acting like that uncle that's always drunk at family reunions and says the wrong things and ruins everyone's night by 8pm. You can enjoy losing your inhibitions with your friends and family and concentrate on solely just having a good time, bonding, rather than missing out because you don't like how it makes a lot of people you know act like fools. I was a binge drinker from 19 to 37. My wife, who I started dating when I was 24, was my best drinking buddy. When we had kids she slowed down and I kept going. Alcohol almost ruined my life. We decided to stop drinking and not even keep alcohol in the house. Life is better overall without alcohol. I know my kids will drink one day. With that being said, I hope to have a beer with them one day and show them how to drink responsibly.

My family are all alcoholics and because of this I made a choice to not drink or ever get drunk. Only no one ever invites me out because I won't drink with them. It makes me feel bad about trying to stay true to myself.

If I'm ever at a party I just drink a single beer or 2 throughout the whole night, just taking little sips, or if I'm having really fancy dinner or really rich food just 1 glass of wine if I really feel like it to cut the richness of the food. I think the difference between getting drunk and drinking is when someone is drinking to get drunk, that's not healthy, but when you have a glass or two depending on someone's tolerance, it just gives a small buzz when you're hanging out with friends. But stay true to yourself. I know how it feels to have people around you like that. I used to get panic attacks if someone even mentioned alcohol. Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't wanna do.
