We don't need to trade Rui, especially for a center who can't bang down low. We need somebody who can play physical like the young guy from Utah. I'd give Utah a first and two second round picks for him. Keep Rui because he could lead the league in shooting the three. Finney and Vanderbilt are limited offensively, but Rui can get to the basket and it puts so much more pressure on the other team's defense. Besides that, Finney is getting old and Vanderbilt will probably never be able to shoot the three.

i don’t think trading for Vuc is a good move, we can’t keep stacking up one way players and be at risk of having 2 or 3 key rotational pieces getting played off the floor in the playoffs i think Kessler even with him not being an outside threat is a much better option than Vuc because he’s elite defensively and he’s a huge presence offensively in the paint

The best two options for the Los Angeles Lakers is Myles Turner or Nikola Vucevic. Both replaces Rui’s production, both give you a center and allow your star player to be at the four (Which if nothing comes from it at least you make him happy and therefore plays better.), & both have recent playoff experience. Walker Kessler is cool but what worries about me is his terrible free-throw shooting and the fact that he’s so young coming to a competitive team that has a lot of bright lights. Nikola and Myles I don’t believe we’ll have that issue. Nonetheless if the Lakers won a good trade you gotta give up something and Rui makes the most sense

I don’t think Jonas would be a good trade. If the Lakers want a defensive identity, why replace Gabe with Jonas and create two glaring holes? Defensively, pairing AD with Jonas isn’t much better than with Hayes. While Jonas rebounds better, his poor rim defense would still leave AD overextended. Isaiah Stewart would be a better target. His length, shooting potential, energy, and switchability fit the Lakers’ needs. I believe Detroit might consider a trade involving Rui, Hayes, and a pick swap.

What about dorian & Vando? Are they all supposed to play 10 min? Say you get A center and he plays 30-35 min & AD plays 13-18 min at center. That means Davis is playing 17-22 min at PF and LeBron likely splits between the 3/4. There only Around 8-10 min at PF left & around 30 min left at the 3. That's roughly 40 min between DFS/Vando/Knecht/Rui. Are they all supposed to play 10 min? That's not counting wood coming back. Let's say you stop playing Knecht that's only roughly 13 min per game between DFS/Vando/Rui. Someone will end up being the odd man out nightly.
