Just subbed, looking forward to the next one. I am subbed to Watts the Safe word. That channel did so much for me during the lockdowns. When this was recommended I had to click . The man in my life is my Daddy and the first one. It sorta naturally became our dynamic. He is ten years older and he earn my respect and trust in the advice he gave me because it was always to help me grow. So I started listening to him because I feel secure and safe in a way I never have in the knowledge he only acts with my best interest and is intelligent and has the experience I don't. In the bedroom we waited a month before sleeping together and in that month, looking back it was a month long negotiation for both of us even though it wasn't planned that way. My point is I have the utmost respect for the title Daddy and those who have it as their title. We learned a lot from that channel I mentioned above and it helped us realize we both never had someone who was truly sex positive and open. Because I grew such a respect and trust I kinda naturally feel into service of him. Since we met he quit his job and started his own company. Besides loving to help with book keeping, I know he is physically exhausted when he gets home every day. I do his grocery shopping and general errands . I like to make sure he feels taken care of because it's simply me returning what he gives me. He's more to me than any boyfriend I have ever had so I don't consider him that. It's closer connection for me and my day collar means more to me than a ring or marriage. I've appreciated having an example of others who don't have monogamous vanilla relationships because in real life it's been hard to explain to others how I dont want to get married, what I have means more to me than that. I hate when others assume he's somehow in the wrong for not marrying me after 5 years. It's been nice toknow, important to know, there's people out there who understand how huge our connection is and how our relationship has been monumental to both our lives in a way that's only been possible because of our dynamic. Thanks for reading this whoever does. A Daddy can really change someone's life in the best way. Sending nothing but love to all those who put the work in to nurture and care for another. Hitting subscribe now. See you in a future comment section . (Sorry for the long ramble. Smoked a little and I get emotional when I sit and think of how important my Daddy is and how he's helped shape my life)💕💕

This may just be me but you all talk about our history and everything and how it's out job to keep it alive and learn from it and personally I'd love to hear story's from the old days either about those who you've lost since I know many were lost in the height of the aids crisis (if your all comfortable with discussing that of course) or just fond memories you all have of the people in the community that have helped shape you into the fine folk you are all now

Awesome session guys. Brilliant, smart and articulate. I came out in the mid to late 80's, explored my leather/kink side in the 90's, still got tons of leather and gear. Got married and turned into a homebody from 2005 on. Now wanting to get back into exploring my leather kink/gear side again with a bit of trepidation. This was an awesome look into how the community has evolved and changed since my last time emersed into it. Hoping it's like riding a bicycle. lol Thank you.

This was a really interesting episode. I always learn so much from this podcast. It's great to have some connection to leather elders even if you're across the pond. Everyone did really well without Amp too. 👏 I have a topic suggestion. I'd like to know all of your opinions about some kink communities not accepting trans people and how this could effect the person in relation to the multi step formulation in the last Watts the Safeword podcast. Do any of you have an worries about how this could keep people in the vanilla closet or even warp their personality as a result? It's something I have experience with and I'd love to hear your takes on it. Thanks for reading this comment. P. S I would definitely buy a "Switcher land" pin badge or other merch. This show always makes me laugh.

I’m a sir. And not just with kink. I’m part of a group that’s a military based sci-fi fan club, and I’m a department head in same. In that group people also call me doc, because I’m that group I portray a corpsman character

There was a discussion about leathermen needing to “show up” when bars do leather nights. OK, as long as the bar does a reasonable job of keeping non-leather folk out on those nights. Because who wants to go to a leather night and a bachelorette party comes swanning in? Been there, done that. It ruined the whole evening.

This conversation was very captivating. The whole training of a new boy or slave was spot on. A Master has to learn and understand the phycological mental mechanics of a boy/slave to be a "good" Master. I don't like being called "Daddy". I see being called "Sir" other Masters/Sirs, since I do address my other Masters/Sir as "Sir".

I agree, it's a mind set and there are skills to being a boy or slave as well as a Master. I've always been very DOM since I came out, at 15 or 16. Sure I had to tweak my skills as I grew and matured but my mind set has always been a "Master". Those who have meet me know this. I've this way everywhere in my personal life as well and can remember me being in charge of those around me even as a kid, it's just me.

Levi/Leather, yep, I like that. Most boys/slaves from my time would be attracted to Masters in full Leather because of psychological effect of "Authority". I wear no cologne, deodorant or use soap during the limited baths I take. I've always been this way as well. And hunt for boys/slaves that have the same mind frame about wearing these.
@tonycollazorappo2 жыл бұрын
I have to explain, sometimes, that a boy can be of any age in the Leather community. I'm a 61 Old Guard Leather Master and I like boys/slaves in my age group and much older. People assume things, if I say I have a boy or slave they assume that those boys or slaves are much younger, lol, no.
@tonycollazorappo2 жыл бұрын
I see they touched upon the whole gear making a Leather Master, lol, nope. Wearing Leather does not make you a well learned Master. And one outgrows Leather fast, and like it's been mentioned, it's fucking expensive! I'll wear Leather vest, hat, small Leather harness and Leather arm or wrist band and yes Leather boots. As far as pants, black jeans, Leather pants are fucking expensive.
