Ask A Monk: Buddhist Funerals and Relating Conversion

"I come from a very Irish Catholic family but i consider myself to be a Buddhist and have for the past few years. I feel i need to let my friends and family know for the fact that if i was to suddenly die i would have a Catholic funeral instead of a Buddhist funeral and this bothers me. How can i make this announcement easy on them without sounding like a rebel or a show off?"
