Ask A Monk: Compassion vs. Pity

"Hi. I find it easy to be compassionate to beings that are weaker/less fortunate than me. Compassion is less forthcoming from me for those 'better off' than me. I understand this is wrong practice on my part. How do I separate compassion from pity?"
