Hello. I am Alexa Mae Sindanum, 22 years old from Bulacan. I am an aspirant Make-Up Artist. Mahilig na ko mag-makeup kahit nung high school ako. Kapag may prom, program or recognition, ako lang talaga gumagawa ng makeup ko noon. Nagsimula ako magpundar ng makeup nung 2015 kasi may napanuod akong isang makeup tutorial dito sa youtube. And after ko mapanuod yon, nag sink in agad sakin na I really want to do it on my face. And simula non, sobrang nainlove ako. I feel so confident everytime I'm wearing makeup and na-realize ko na I want girls to feel the same way too. Kaya pinagpa-practisan ko yung mga kapit-bahay ko and relatives. Hanggang sa sinusubukan ko na mag-earn to buy new products. Sobrang nararamdaman ko yung fulfillment kapag nakikita ko na natutuwa at nagagandahan sila sa gawa ko kahit hindi ako skilled. I love doing makeup. I dunno, basta sobrang inlove na inlove ako sa makeup to the point na gusto ko ng gawing career kasi this is what I love and this is what makes me happy. I really love holding the brush and blending it and making people feel beautiful the way I feel when I am wearing makeup. Feeling ko nasa makeup industry talaga yung puso ko. ❤️ Sana po matulungan mo pa ko mai-enhance yung kakayahan ako at I want to learn more, especially from you. Sobrang flawless and seamless mo po magmakeup. ❤️ I tried to join here kasi nagbabaka sakali ako at alam kong marami pa kong matututunan. I binge-watched your videos and ang dami ko na agad natutunan kahit konti pa lang yon. Pano pa kaya sa masterclass, diba? Edi baka bumongga na ko magmakeup. I love it whenever I watch a good makeup artist transform/enhance a person's face. It's very satisfying to watch. However, whenever I try doing it on my own, I couldn't quite get it mainly because I'm not really skilled and I lack the proper tools and make ups.. lol. I wish someone could teach me though. I started learning about makeup bc it is a requirement for my dream job - to become a flight stewardess. unfortunately, nobody was there to teach me how to or what products to use. there was even a time when i went to an open event for an airline and my face was too white. i feel (and know) that me not knowing how to wear makeup played a part why in my 4x applying for an airline company, i was always unsuccesful. so i hope by joining your class, i will get proper training and insight on how to wear make up and bring me a step closer to becoming a flight stewardess.

I remember I started having interest in make up when i was a young teen (maybe the age of 14 or 15). I became obsessed with watching make up tutorials in youtube when I started dancing ballet. I started having recitals and different shows through out the year, I would usually wait for my mom to arrive and do my make up but she was always late and I always end up asking the moms of my fellow dancers to do my make up. I started watching KZbin videos on how to apply eyeliner to putting on false lashes and so on, so that I would no longer wait for my mom or ask the other parents to do mine. Make up has been a part of my dancing career, I really love the process of applying make up until to help me enhance my features which helps me in me showcase my dance technique. Make up has become my passion, it has the ability to change me as a dancer to a character who I dance to. It helped me build character and charisma when I dance. I started watching your channel since I saw you on Heart's youtube channel. I love how even if you are a professional make up artist, you are kind enough to share your secrets and help people like me who have no way of learning make up and only have youtube as a guide to learn. My mom and I are really close, I grew up having a good bonding with her. She's always supportive in everything that I do in life whether it be in school or elsewhere. I love making people feel good about themselves, that's why whenever someone is in need to choose their outfit, do their hair and makeup, skin care tips I'm always done to help. Making people confident and feeling good in their skin brings a lot of joy to me. Recently, my aunt got married and my mom needed someone to do her hair and makeup. My mom doesn't know how to put on makeup and she doesn't have much knowledge about it so I told her that I'll be the one to help her on the wedding. She was so happy because she didn't have to hire anyone Hahaha but I will say that my skills and knowledge about makeup has a far way journey to go, I want to continue to help my mom and others to feel confident and good about themselves. Sir Albert, I've waited for this masterclass after watching your videos with Michelle Dy and hearing about your work from some of my MUA friends. You're techniques are amazing and I do hope that I get to be one of the lucky winners! I'm an aspiring MUA but I would only do it on my friends and family because my techniques are not that good, unlike others 😞 but your masterclass could really help me become better in what I do. That way, I would be very confident to try and do other clients' makeup outside my circle and be able to showcase my skills. Hi Sir Albert, hope it's not too late for this but I really love to join your masterclass. I am an accountant and currently working at Makati. Being a millenial career woman is really stressing, trying to be that strong independent woman and meeting the expectations of the people around you. We share the same passion...I am a struggling make up artist, been doing this as a sideline for the past 5 years because I also have a job to keep. I totally agree on that Banila Co Oil Cleansing Balm for taking out even the toughest makeup :) balm sya then rub it on ur dry face then magiging oily sya then just rub gently. even sa eyelids and eyeliner part of the eye is safe. wash with water and super clean na face mo. no need na to wash again. I've been using that for 3 yrs. previously I use Bioderma but this is better :) grabe super swerte naman dyan sa pinas to have a chance to join u sa masterclass :) hope someday u can do a makeup for working moms. I only have 15 mins to do it. I want to look presentable and fresh pa din :)

I practiced a lot of makeup on myself, especially the eye shadow part during my free time, minsan sa madaling araw pa, naka full face and lola nyo, haha! I really enjoy putting makeup so for all events I attend to, I prep myself on my own. I think my sister and relatives saw my potential (Haha), so in every events they attend to (parties for sis, prom for my 2 cousins, gradball for my 1 cousin), they ask for my help in doing their makeup. I'm passionate about it so YES! Of course I always agree and I'm always excited whenever I have a chance. To help them achieve what look they 'prefer', I really practice and prepare myself before their DDAY, I spend some time to research and watch numerous makeup tutorials to achieve good result.I love the feeling when I got praises and when they feel happy about their look! Though, I have practiced a lot on my own, I still feel slow and feel lost at some parts (eyeliners, putting false eyelashes). I wish to learn more from you, a very pro makeup artist and your team! Can you show us how you deal with clients with acne, scars and discolorations? Base techniques (Everyday AND for Special Events) I admire your honesty, Sir Albert. Naging totoo ka lang, kahit naman ako kung tatanungin ako paborito ko, top quality rin yung pipiliin ko. Hindi ka kasi mapapahiya. I strongly agree with you! I was a slave in the corporate world for 16yrs! Though I'm greatful for all the experiences I had especially the trainings, fieldworks & the people I've met from all walks of life... It was 2016 when I felt soo down, numb & that feeling of finding my purpose to what I do & I felt that I'm not growing anymore with my career.. so it was a turning point when I had to go beyond my comfort zone & followed my heart & my passion for art---makeup.. 😊 Since then, there was never a day that I felt im working coz I really love my craft & I'm enjoying every minute of it! The fulfillment & joy it brought me everytime I see my clients happy & boost more self confidence in them & to see beyond the beauty of a person is what makes me more fulfilled and proud as an artist.. Gradually, it made me realize what God-given talent is really for a purpose.. But struggle is real! Being a freelancer is not at all easy & as a beginner I really have to go through the toughest times especially with my finances.. I tried to apply a job to my most favorite & super idol Sir @abtkurniawan's team but unfortunately a call for a health concerns made it impossible yet for the meantime... But there's always hope... and I will continue believing & dreaming that one day I'll make a good name & leave a legacy for the next generation..thru continous learning & dedication I believe it will come.. and if I will be one of the lucky girl to make it to his Masterclass for free then I'd be the happiest woman alive!!! 😄 More power Sir Albert! Hi Sir Albert! Way back 2013, That is the year when i became enthusiastic about makeup. I'd secretly get my mom's and my sister's makeup just to do my face. I always hide from them whenever i do it because if when they caught me they will just say that im wasting their makeups. As a makeup lover, i did not stop lol. To be honest, back then i did not expect that it could be a profession because everytime i do my makeup, i just feel happy. Makeup for me is an avenue wherein i can trully express myself. It literally gives me that confident whenever i do makeup. So when a friend ask me if i can do her makeup, im a hesitant to accept it because i am only comfortable to do my own make. Aside from that, it was her first ever prom and i dont want to ruin that special day of her. She said that she trust me. So i take that risk and she was satisfied with her look. Its very fulfilling to see someone who is very happy with your work. Starting from that moment, i did not expect that i will see that as my future profession. Im balancing my studies and being a freelance makeup artist. It enables me to earn and buy makeup to build my kit. Having a spot on your masterclass will help me to gain more knowledge. I believe that i deserved that slot because i always put my heart on it and i always do my very best to put smile on my clients whenever they see my output on their beautiful faces. I learned and fell in love with makeup during my college years thanks to youtube. I loved how makeup makes you look more presentable and gives you confidence in your daily life. My love grew more and more as years passed just watching gurus on youtube. Back then, I never really thought there was a career out of makeup until I met an actual makeup artist last 2016. This makeup artist allowed me to come with her sometimes to some of her gigs to assist her and there I saw makeup in a different light. I wanted to become a makeup artist but problem was, I didn’t have enough savings to allow myself to get professionally equipped. Come 2017, I learned I was pregnant and for some reason I thought my makeup dreams were done. I thought I will never be able to go to makeup school. I would be busy juggling my corporate work and having a baby/family. But sadly come July 2017, 6 months pregnant, I had a miscarriage and lost my baby. I got depressed a few months after losing my child. But one day everything just turned around. I told myself to dream again, to hope, to aspire things that I still want to achieve in life and there I told myself, I will save up to go to makeup school to be a professional makeup artist. And that’s what I did. Last 2018, I took a basic makeup course at CAS and I’m still trying to finish my internship til today. I would really love to be a part of your class to learn more in makeup and your personal experiences. I would like to be inspired by you to keep that fire burning in me to push harder and learn more. ❤️

Awwww! I'm out of the country currently working in Indonesia. I'm a big fan of you, Albert! I hope you'll do masterclasses in Jakarta, too! I work with children with special needs but I have so much passion & enthusiasm for make up and what it does for a person. It's more than beauty. It is confidence and for me it's about relationships, too. I never put on make up until I was in 5th year of uni. And my mom, friends and workmates inspired me to learn about it. I practice on my own and tried attending classes from Sephora. I do free make ups for my colleagues, friends and especially for my mom because I truly enjoy it and that is my language of love for them. Hi po Sir Albert. I'm from Surigao City. I started wearing make up late 2017 as a way of coping up/healing from my depression after I failed my licensure examination. I was able to get back up and achieve my dream a year later. 👷‍♀️ I remember having my self review months before the licensure exam, whenever I am overwhelmed with the topics that I am studying and sometimes lose my passion to go on, I always grab my little make-up kit and start wearing my daily make-up look. Nakakawala ng STRESS po talaga Sir Albert. After that, I am back on track na. 😂 I started learning from different youtube vloggers on how to do it and also learn where to buy good quality products for someone who can't afford the expensive ones. Wearing make up makes me feel kalma and masaya after being in a tremendous amount of stress and frustrations. After learning the basics, I apply what I saw and make changes if it doesnt suit me. Hi Albert, I'm Rowell and I am your silent viewer. I have been a subscriber for a months now. I have always been so amazed with how you put make up with your clients, celebrities and tutorials. I started doing make up with clients ever since I was 14 years old. Now I am turning 30. I rarely get clients for a couple years already and that is what makes me feel rusty. Nahihirapan ako tanggapin sa sarili ko na kinakalawang na ko pagdating sa make up. I still keep buying high end and drugstore make up in the US. But the thing is, I can't use those because I had to choose between being a make up artist and working at BPO in BGC. First love ko talaga ang pagiging make up artist. Unfortunely, there are some considerations reason why I am on a different field now. But that doesn't mean tinalikuran ko na sya.
