Same reason they don’t serve her husband divorce papers if they happen to not like him. One of them I think mistletoe said she (host) had an established life before communication with them began so my personal assumption is that they willingly participate with that previous establishment (perhaps although to an extent only).

This terrifies me. Not in the "Jekyll and Hide" sense. No, I think you and all of your alters (I hope I worded that right) are all wonderful and I would love to hang out with you. But I've been through a lot of trauma and have a good bit of repressed memories that are popping up as I work through a lot of issues from am abusive relationship. My coping skills are sleeping a lot and spacing out constantly. I can't imagine, one random day, realizing I'm sharing my head space with someone else. You're an amazing person!

Thank you so much for putting yourselves out there to help enlighten and educate. I'm so happy to see such a positive, functioning, accurate system being represented on a platform. My mother has DID and I didn't know until my late teens. She's an absolutely wonderful mother. She has had very successful integration, all but two alters (herself the core, and one other) integrated. This was the best path for them, but it's not for everyone. Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to do all of the videos you all do! So wonderful to get to know you all! 💕

It's a relief to hear someone say writing is quite a challenge for them. So many therapists are really into using it as their tool to help people but its not my thing either. I'm glad I'm not the only one. It makes it feel real when someone else can say Yeh I feel the same about that.

I wonder how much this has changed over the last half decade! I know our system was very “just let the host do whatever” in the older days, which definitely isn’t the way we work now. Some members aren’t around anymore (at least the way they were), some are new, and some have been around the whole time. It’s so interesting to see systems grow together

Don't worry. Even if people do reject your system, it is because they do not understand your system. If and when your system comes out and you all decide to share, I can guarantee that there will be people and systems that are accepting of you. Also, I apologize if I have phrase any of this wrong, I do not mean to offend, I am still learning terms and how DiD works.

Piare often appeared in my dreams long before I even knew he was an alter. It was kinda weird because recurring night mares is always when he'd appear and he'd show up right before the scarry part of the night mare and steer me away from going down that path again. I wouldn't be aware of the recurring night mare while it was happening but then I'd wake up and remember having the same dream before but it ending differently. The funny part is that Piare is French and we'd always just end up arguing about the origin of French Fries not actually being French at all and that would be my distraction from the night mare. This happen multiple times for a couple years before Piare fronted for the first time.

i really think this is an awesome thing you all are doing. I do not have DID, but I love learning about other people and what they deal with just so i can accurately understand people in general and with that i think it's super important to understand things like DID so i love all the educational videos you all share. It's important i think and i have learned so much. So thank you for these videos! It's super brave. Forgive me if anything was not said correctly, i'm still learning. It’s a common misconception that there is complete amnesia between alters. We have achieved pretty good communication so we had no problem making a video like this :)

generally no! they'll feel it when they begin to front, but since its another alter at the time and they have dissociative barriers they arent aware of the front enough if they arent fronting
