What a cool little car. I see a theme within the EV community, the majority will never go back to driving an ICE vehicle, I don't blame them.

I have a 2016 IMiev and just love it. I keep thinking of getting something which offers better range, but I don't really need it. What I love about the IMiev is the super roomy interior yet a very small exterior footprint which gives me more parking options, better maneuverability, and gives more room for cyclists/pedestrians when passing. I also love the fact that with only a 16KW battery, it's way better for our planet.

With Australia's proximity to China, Japan and Indonesia and our non existent car industry and the fact we get some of the most sun in the world, we could be an Ev import power house. Instead we have strict regulation and tariffs to keep us on the fossil fuel industry tit for as long as possible...While we get to buy back our own gas at international prices, you couldnt make up a better story for how well we have been stitched up by those who pretend to serve us.

I can’t wait to do a battery upgrade on my 2023 Mini Cooper electric. Hopefully in 2030, I will upgrade the battery.

yeah i think there has been a ban on importing these to aus, so so much for that (they cant have read this guy's wife's research). The styling is horrible but now i know its 15 years old that is somewhat explained with the smart for fourish looks

This would be a perfect car for me to run around Canberra in. If it had a great range I would just replace my ICE car with one like this. I don't use my car often but when I do it is either to run to the other side of town or visit family interstate.

Cute go cart! Love it! Gosh we thought we were early adopters with our first EV in 2014. Rob wins! Agree with comments about health and vehicle exhaust. Major studies show strong correlation between air quality and dementia.

Interesting video thanks and hello Rob! Great to see the iMIEV still going strong but what happened to the Japanese manufacturers and EVs is astonishing (like not much!).
